C6 Shocks Replacement - EP4

  • First stage of my off-season work on the C6. Phase 1 was the shocks, brake lines next, then after I get an appointment for an alignment I'll do the outer tie rods (bump steer kit from Baer).

    It would have been nice to have torque specs for upper and lower.

      I generally don't put torque specs in my vids because I have a fear of someone using my How To and something going wrong and then trying to take me to court for damages

    How’s the handling and overall body roll with these? I have a c6 base and I need to do something about the suspension, it’s too soft and bounces all over the road

      I haven't gotten to test it out fully. I took it for a small test ride after they were finished. Initial impression was "less bouncy". These aren't "stiffer" as the spring does that. These dampen the bounce and do a very good job. I have dropped the car off to get an alignment this morning and hope to take it out for a proper shakedown this weekend.
