Do you ship to the UK
Love the Tokyo Grey hoodie. Might have to get a second since the wife keeps taking it! A personal favorite of mine is the Engine Heart shit. Got a set for me and the missus. Wicked cool design
I love my black hat so much I'm off to order another...and that hoodie too- looks sick! Thanks to you guys that keep this the most awesome 4x4 show on the interballs!
@@garynewell6947 yeah I just got some ordered for my birthday
I'm sad that this is the first time I've noticed the custom tip (gratuity) button on the check out page! Maybe y'all should call that out next time you remind us about the shop ? I did try to make up a bit for my prior ignorance. Y'all are the best!
Was not expecting so many people with you at the end there, what an awesome team you guys have
Same. Was cool seeing the others there to celebrate.
We don't have a team that big - just our mates came over to support for the first start
shoey!
@@mightycarmods We've seen you tossing treats to your large crew on your main channel. 7 or 8 others i'd reckon
@@jwolfe1630 Hello there fellow Unicorn Circuit viewer, I am number 21, I think.
Man that was tense! Dave is a beast too, he seemed so chill even though I'm sure he wanted to delete himself from the garage 🤣
Page up for Dave
@@matthewharr6372 pg up
I felt that anxiety too!
Dave delete
The look on daves face at the end. That was just pure relief
You can see it in Dave's eyes, his entire reputation, experience, energy, career, maybe even family, was on the line of him getting the wiring right.
xD
I am so glad this video came out quickly after the last cliff-hanger. You two are putting in creative work on this one and it's so appreciated.
Bloody agree 👍 have you seen the PB subi dok for Marty??
one cliff hanger to another one this is wilder than game of thrones
@@mattgraham1983 I have not. I will try to find that online.
Them two and all of the helps
Props to Dave for not going screw you guys as soon as he heard what you were wanting to do haha
Surely this is great Haltech PR?
@@MumrikDKthis is great haltech PR. I don't even need a haltech and Dave makes me want to buy one.
Man the obscure builds are packed with pUriTy and make for some weird challenges like that starter debacle, the combination of project choice and awesome personalities makes for some genuine high stakes drama without the car show tropes of fabricated drama. Top all that with good humor and you have the perfection that is Mighty Car Mods, they're the masters of making me invested in the build of a car I'd never want to own.
Very kind message. Thank you sir!
You very well summarised my exact feelings. Damn who knew i would be so invested in a Midget of all things :) This is amazing!!
They sh!t all over American automotive drama reality TV!
Dave is such a nice dude. Always calm and always smiling. Haltech seem to be good a choosing youtube suitable staff.
He looks so tired at the end. I've seen that look many times when doing deployments of tech...
Dave literally makes me want to buy a haltech just to support them, even though I don't need one.
@@shut_your_legs moooooey expensivo!
It's awesome to see the amount of effort and collaboration to bring this project to life! The panning shot to everyone behind the scenes at the end is something we don't get to see very often.
You don’t see it often because there’s not usually that many people.
This episode is insane as to how close everyone were to loosing it and yet pulling through. Mostly on the back of Dave XD.
Dave looks wiped. Good jobs guys and the massive dedication!
This series has been the most fun to watch in a long time! It feels like the original MCM when it was just 2 passionate dudes in a garage, doing unique stuff. Thanks so much for sharing!
Two passionate dudes in a garage? This isn't brokeback car mods mate, delete your search history and repent!
No wonder Moog is always grumpier than Marty: no coffee!
Na can't have withdrawals if you don't even drink it ever.
Coffee makes people more hyper then usual aka more on the edge (caffeine).
@@1dameister1 it's a joke
@@raynman6466 Well it flew over my head as it seems.
Dave is such a boss! So calm and composed and always figures out a solution. You guys have an awesome team with you and its so awesome to see an MCM video on my feed. Honestly makes my day better!
That last shot, pure euphoria for the whole team! What a moment 🤙🏽
Yay more stuffing big things in small places
Like all the good things in life
Funny, She never said that.
Like your girl.
@@TrojanLube69 wouldn't that be the other way round? lol
this is the most dramatic, edge-of-my-seat, build i've watched you guys do. and it's for the tiniest of engines. and i love every second of it.
What a Mighty Morning of Mighty Car Mods Midget videos! Epic start to the day!
Its time for bad for me
The suspense was killing me! I hope you can add the turbo later on!
This is what I'm hoping too
Dave is great.
I also want you to know how much I appreciate the farm animal noises over the cussing, it’s hilarious.
Hats off to Dave. That look of relief at the end, priceless. Well done guys.
I’ve been watching this channel since it was filmed in Marty’s moms driveway.
I think this is one of the few times I’ve ever seen you both look dejected during a build. You’ll have to tell us how many hours that troubleshooting took because by the end the exhaustion was obvious.
So nice to see these bolt on builds :)
Seriously this is awesome series. If it were easy, everyone would do it. Keep up the good work.
I know that face Dave was making all too well after being there too many times to count myself. Exhaustion after racking your brain going through everything that would make sense to try and get at least the start of a result. The moment you finally reach a point that even remotely resembles a "standard starting point" is such a relief.
Yuss! Hoping the next iteration has that beefer clutch and a turbo. When y'all have more time to do it, and don't have the pressure and time constraints for a TV spot.
Rooting for y'all. The Midget is now my close second favorite to the March Superturbo.
You guys are absolutely awesome Dave with his magic hands
just watched the last episode and was hoping for part 4 would be out soon, didn't know it would be this soon Haha, great works guys!!
"Does sound different, but it ran" - Dave; 19: 17 😂👍
You can literally see the burden of responsibility leaving Dave's shoulders in the final shot, yet he remained so calm and focused all the way through. What a guy.
The anxiety was palpable! Great work guys haha
Wow haha Moog's anger at the midget starter motor haha! Also, isn't Dave just the NICEST guy. Go Dave
I’ve learnt so much watching this channel over the years, but the ability to identify feet over hands has been the most useful skill.
So happy to see Cheryl's box on the show! Feel like I just saw it an hour ago...
Love how much you guys have grown over the years and stayed true to who you guys were at the beginning and better yet still playing with stuff that anyone can get into realistically keep it up guys
Not the usual midget content I watch on the internet but I'm enjoying this build.
Dave was ready to just throw in the tools on this project... He won't be keen on another one like this haha
One of the best episodes I've seen in ages after having some time off from MCM
That ending tho 🤣 (don't jump to the finish, I swear it's worth it )
Middle of the night and everyone is staring. No pressure. Dave is a warrior.
More intense than Kiefer Sutherland in 24, all seasons combined!! Nice one! On ya Davo!
My second car, also first manual, was a 1991 Daihatsu Charade with a 1L. I loved that thing, and when the engine finally gave out at 320k miles was pretty devastated. I tried finding a donor engine, but here in America they are few and far between.
I know it would be a long shot. But Mitsubishi has the 3a92 out of the mirage, it's a 1.2, if you could get a motor/trans and a loom/ECU, with some fab work it may just work out
You could try and look for a 4efte engine from a toyota starlet if you have those there.
@@euroker05 we didn't get the starlet here
@@ThatOddLife the Tercel had those engines too
@@LouisSubearth I stand corrected
Loving the series guys big fan for years
Poor Dave, the bloke looked absolutely shattered by the end there. He seriously deserves a crate or 3 of beers for that effort.
Was hilarious to see dave sweating bullets and clearly knackered, doing his damndest to get this absolute nugget started, all for the funnies of having a 1ltr midget. 😂
Congrats guys This is huge. Not gonna lie, I celebrated a bit my self. cant wait till you guys get this turbo charged its going to be wicked.
09:52 and 20:02 Best Moments of the whole Build!
Talk about foreshadowing from Dave 3 eps ago “it’s simple”😂😂😂 that was so tense to watch.
I literally was holdin my breath there at the end without realizing.
Got to love that feeling of accomplishment, when something you've poured time and effort into finally works. Great job!
This has easily been the most stressful MCM episode ever made.
Whatever you are paying Dave, double it. What a legend!
Davo is gonna block their numbers after this thing is done🤣
Dave looked tired AF! Poor bugger. Gents, sincerely, I held my breath so many times in this ep.
hell of a massive shoutout to Dave! seemed like he was really at work there :) and a great job to you guys and the rest of the team! but what a clif hanger xD
These moments, at red eye o'clock, when you want to just burn the thing to the ground and go and take up golf, feel so stressful at the time. But in a few months, you forget all the stress, and all you remember is what a blast you had with your guys, doing something special. Timeless feeling, drink it in.
Love the dude doing a shoey at the end. Classic.
LiveToDai 🤙 Solid community of blokes always super helpful
What an episode (or series, or both). This is the type of experience I can most relate too. Sorting past one problem, hitting the next one and figuring that one out, then on to the next one. The joy when getting past all the issues is exquisite.
0:39 I bought that bottle when I ordered the 180SX LE poster. Used it a bit over the summer (northern hemisphere), and I really like the size and the rubber ring on the lid. :)
BENNY WAS THERE ASWELL! WOOT WOOT , Go Dave! :D Could see how tired his face was jesusususu
I've turned Marty saying: "now if THAT doesn't work we're actually screwed" into a drinking game.
Jokes aside this series is an amazing watch! Thanks for your time and efforts lads
Dave looks like he wants to burn his cell phone and never answer it again. Amazing effort!
1) Dave looks absolutely EXHAUSTED. 2) That truck is actually smaller than a side-by-side. 3) That thing sounds ROWDY!!!
Dave's face when cracking it over, like it was gonna explode!
That was very stressful guys, feel your pain, very impressive on a monumental task!
Big shout out to Dave, top of his game.
Thanks for sharing the experience guys.
Towards the end there tired dave was looking like Matt Okine 😂
Dave is a FREAKING LEGEND!!!!! HUGE Props to the Friend that saved the build👍
We are the 3 people behind you on the forum Martin! You got this!
And the whole gang's there! Love the celebration!
Oh man, so tense! The suspence, the thril, the palm sweating! Well done guys. Looking forward to the next episode.
I've got a really important exam for a managerial course tomorrow, I was revising online.... Until this notification! Dave is a boss!
The travel mug is brilliant. Best keep cup I've ever had
Dave is an absolute champion!
Also, it runs! Sort of!
Anyone else think they were going to see Al and Benny roll in last minute to player 3 that shit. Dave for the win
This whole thing is an example of perseverance, determination, and application of solving the issues as they come, instead of getting upset about it.
Awesome episode.....That Shoey at the end @20:00 got me laughing too hard! Danny Ric would be proud.
I had just finished watching part 3, and this came up, amazing. Can't wait to see how this project will turn up. Waiting for the turbo install after the shoot :D
Love how theres a guy drinking out of a boot at the end in celebration XD GG Guys
What an intense episode in the Midget series! From great excitement hearing the starter actually work the first time, to the dreadful waiting to see if it would actually start. A banger boy's a banger for sure. Well good.
Dave brings the CALM.....knowledgeable and calm....awesome
What an amazing series so far. Keep up the good work guys. Cheers
That starter motor going in the bin did it for me. I genuinely laughed out loud!
This series has been an awesome roller coaster, loving this content
Me: seeing the teaser from Super Cheap on Facebook
Yesterdays episode: nail biter
This episode: HELL YEAH
I was on the edge of my seat waiting for that engine to start up! Great work boys! Keep up the great content!
Marty nearly in tears of relief at the very end, epic.
someone doing a cheeky shoey there at the end lol i cant wait for the next part!
my car goes click click, my car goes pop pop, my car goes knock knock.
i love mcm. im a long time fan. all the risks you took over the years your bound to have something not work out so smoothly. good luck on the kei truck midget build . i hope it all works out
Dave-o makes all of us Daves proud!!!
@10:30 Moog's deadpan is epic
Go the Midget ... great mini series the standard of your work, in all ways is just brilliant ... keep it coming .... congratulations
Aside from the respect you guys deserve from every video you post this one was the most "mcm" one I've seen in a while. The chopping and changing oem parts for the ultimate solution is awesome . The pioneering of ecu / wiring to get it to run . You really should have put another minute of after it fired up so we could all bask in the glory . Any engine swap period we all know the joy of the first time it fires up. I spotted the shooie. Chuck a few more high 5s and yahoo's in
Had such a smile at the end when it finally started up! On the edge entertainment this!!
Did anyone else notice the bare foot pumping up the gearbox jack 😂😂😂
Where have you been? It's been an ongoing joke for about 5 years
Dave is an absolute genius!
I honestly thought Moog was saying the clutch had a bawhair's clearance, which is very much a Scottish thing. I'm so glad the engine started in the end, that was tense.
You guys, everyone, have knocked this series out of the freaking park!!
Well done guys, awesome work, awesome vid. I'm literally hanging out day to day waiting to see how you're getting on. Delighted for you all 👍
Keep it coming lads, nice work!
Honestly, the most stressful episode I've ever seen. Felt every crank of that engine. What a ride. Good luck with the rest of that build. I need a nap.
Been here so many times, really felt for you all. Spot on with "1 thing at a time"- I often screw myself forgetting that. Top work all
