This was an awesome video! Another neat thing about some shiny pokemon- I mean animals - is that some of them may not survive well in the wild because of their different coloring, but that coloring may help them be more likely to survive in urban areas. There is a bird, I think the Cooper's Hawk, that has a "shiny" version that makes up only like 25% of the population and that population tends to live in urban areas because their lack of browns blends better with buildings than trees.

I have a shiny both in real life and in Pokémon :D I have an albino hedgehog named Eri, and multiple shiny Pokémon in lets go and shield. Some favorites are Eevee (Named Nix) Rapidash (the fire type one, no name yet), and a Phantump (Named Willow)

Ever since Pokëmon Legends: Arceus, as well as Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, can now be seen in the over world now, this theory is pretty conclusive.
I can mention one natural shiny that doesn't seem to have the full albinism trait, just mostly. The kodiak bear in the forests of Northern BC is rare, but only about 1 in 7, and interbreeds without issue with the rest of the population. Their area is highly protected because of them.

All my shinies are backed up in my Pokemon Stadium 2, along with all my Pokeballs, Potions, Gold Leaf's etc etc etc etc etc; because there is a LOT of stuff that is backed up over decades of game play and Mystery Gift. And then there is the 251 Pokemon I have been collecting including each and every individual evolution in Pokedex order. Having all my old favorite Pokemon backed up is also pretty cool too. I think my favorite shiny is my Noctowl, which has the color pattern of Ash's shiny Noctowl, which is pretty dope.

Shiny's are I guess genetic variation which means it presents different sequences of genes between a individual Pokemon. The for the geno type and phenotype vary from that individual organism. This is natural this is what drives evolution. If an organism has traits to best fit it's environment.

About the Masuda method, in order to get a shiny with max IV stats you would've needed to breed for the stats then use that mon to breed for a perfect shiny so.... The Offspring would be tossed in the daycare with one of its parents ( usually a foreign max IV ditto)

Does this affect legendary or mythicals?, if there is technically only one of each, then that means no one knows if they are “shiny” in the Pokémon world, so technically in the Pokémon universe, some NPCs might believe that the Pink and yellow Hoopa might be shiny even though the shiny cold is actually Gold.

The shiny forms of Hisuian Decidueye, Hisuian Typhlosion, and Hisuian Samurott have similar colouring to the regular versions of their non-Hisuian forms. Given that Pokémon Legends Arceus is set in the long past, the suggestion seems to be that as these species developed, the shiny versions became more prevalent. So maybe shinies aren’t doomed to die, maybe they’re destined to thrive

thanks to the switch you can actually set up a different profile switch your system’s language and region and start a new game. in the game also change the language. then you catch a couple dittos and trade it to a friend. your friend trades one to you main profile and now you are both ready for the musado method

My very first shiny was a Zubat back during Pokémon emerald. I traded it all the way up to the current games where it is now a crowbat. But for some reason, the Pokémon that I keep running into the most that shiny are golbat I’ve got three shiny golbat over the last few years and one of them. Apparently I forgot about that. I got back in 2020 and then even this year I caught one while . My girlfriend was driving.

@@deanneen5656 true but they didn't care enough to do the game themselves instead they passed it off to a third party. It's just a reskin right now with little to anything that has been changed to make it worth a buy. We shall see though
i got a bp/ ball python he is adorable and cute and my favorite colors or than the regular one are the white/ snowy ones and the yellow/ bannna ones but like ... I take that back they're all very cooolll colorssss I LIKE BALLPYTHONS
sadly tho these different colors in there skin is harmfull and usually has very bad side effects

Snake breeders have done some incredible things like the Sunburst and Purple Line Western Hognose. Just wild combinations of parents with recessive traits. I don’t even own any reptiles, but it’s super cool (as long as the snakes are healthy)
