- Now I've got the four tracks running well, I can start on the scenics and straightaway I run into issues, so I have a go at kit bashing to achieve what I need. In this episode I start on the lighting for the platform and the first tunnel where the farm will go. Please like and subscribe, and all comments will be answered. Diolch!

Greetings Steve 🐲🏴 Excellent work on the scratch built tunnels 😍 The lift out hill section is a sound move 👍 my trains always stop ✋️ somewhere I can't reach them 😢 Keep up the good work and heating the shed 🥶 Very best wishes from the Emerald Isle ☘️🌞
And thank you kind sir for your comment. Yeah I fell foul of the locos getting stuck before.

Hi Steve great to see a video off yours again, it's very exciting seeing it all come together. Fantastic work on the tunnels they look great.
Have a great week. Colin
Cheers Colin - took some days of figuring out how I was going to do it. I should have thought ahead and made esure the tracks were laid properly in the first place but hey ho.

You can't beat a good metcalfe kit bash - excellent bit of work there😊 cheers Euan
Aye Euan - took me a while to work out but am happy with the results so far - it will all depend on how the final article fits later down the line.

Good to see the scenic work starting Steve. I've had to custom build all my tunnel entrances, which I think makes for a more individual look, and I like the way you have constructed yours. I understand why you didn't want the tunnel entrance close to the station, but, providing my memory isn't letting me down, you have a real world prototype in your part of the world at Ipswich. The London end goes straight into a tunnel. BTW the Bachmann Times has the Scenecraft N gauge 60s/70s coal miners as on their way to the UK. According to the Bachmann website they have arrived, and Rails still have them as a preorder item. The code is 379-313. Stephen
That's great thanks Stephen - will have a look after this weeknd. I was 50/50 on the tunnel at the end of the platform thinking it would be a great shot of the loco exiting out, but then I decided I wanted to see more of the train not less as it went around. I may change my mind yet but working on the first bit now and will see how it fits.

Hi Steve! Looks like you've made a great start to the scenics! I love to see how people kit bash their various structures! Regarding the tunnel at the end of the platform, maybe consider a road bridge instead? It would keep the area relatively open, and would give you a good shot of trains arriving / departing the platform as they went under the bridge! Oh, loved the idea of turning the platform upside down to align the drill holes! All the best, Ian.
Hi Ian - thanks for the comments. I have been thinking about a road bridge as there will be a road running through the middle of the town and it needs to go off somewhere so that could be a winner!

@@lynganddistrict - Ah, brilliant! I look forward to seeing how it develops! Cheers, Ian.

Hi Steve, really cracking on now what happened to the snails pace you were working at lol 😂 cheers Al
I appreciate very much that you say ''l am quite pleased with that', however, l would never be able to create that set of arches. I have overseen the construction of blocks of apartments and villas worth 7 million euros but to make those arches would be a 'bridge too far, the electronics too, l would not be at Ohm with that............................
Very good Carlos! That did give me a chuckle. Thank you so much for taking the time to comment it is very much appreciated!
