If you get really technical about it you could say that at least the egg that could become Morty was present, given that a female fetus will have developed all of it’s eggs by 20 weeks gestation. Yes, that means that every pregnant person is potentially carrying their own grandchild.

This makes sense, but I still believe that Evil Morty was paired with Dumb Rick, i feel that Dumb Ricks appearance at the end of the episode was more than just coincidence. Also, C-137 Rick and Morty are described as the 'Rickest Rick' and 'Morty-est Morty', therefore it would make sense if Dumb Innocent Rick ( The Least Rickest Rick) would be paired with Evil Genius Morty (The Least Morty-est Morty).

Another theory on why rick could have abondend evil morty is also the fact, that rick hides behind the morty waves (which I guess are based on intelligence and fear) and if a morty is smart and confident, the morty waves would be weak and couldn‘t hide a Rick.
And Rick-137 is a Rick with a long crime history so he would need those morty waves

I noticed something... Eyepatch/Evil Morty did return. Season 3 episode 7: The Ricklantis Mixup. In this episode a morty rises to power and manages to overthrow the Citadel of Ricks. At the end of the episode, one of the things seen outside the airlock is the campaign manager Morty's body, and puctures of eyepatch morty (and a rick as well...) In this episode its shown how bad the lives of citizens of the citadel of ricks was: Homeless Mortys running amok, not to mention underpaid Ricks exploited and forced into what is essentially slave labor. My dad sctually made the theory that Evil morty returns in this episode (S3E7) but I paid little interest in it until i thought about it.

watching this and rewatching the show, I thought of this:
in the kronemberg episode they abandon dimension c 137, they go to another reality, let's call it "reality 1234" (I don't know the real number). in the evil morty episode why does the ricks from the citadel call him or know they are rick and morty c 137? shouldn't they think they are from "reality 1234"?
I think the biggest thing "in possible show cannon" that could give it away would be his portal gun. Even of C 137 wasn't part of the council of ricks keeping that technology only within Rick hands is practically the entire reason the Council was made. Scientifically maybe something to do with residual radiation or some other markers that while not impactfull but varies from dimension to dimension enough to distinguish who's from them. ( I mean there has to be something the guns can lock onto to even be able to go back to the proper dimension after a trip to another one)
Ricks probably are able to tell where other ricks are from in terms of dimensions. Hence why they can track ricks in other dimensions. There already is a rick and morty from dimension 1234 and they are dead. It’s all based on the initial dimension I believe.
Ragnok and Olivier are exactly correct. The council most definitely knew which Rick and Morty they were talking to through their portal gun. How do I know? Well think back to S3 E1 when they save Morty and Summer from being harmed by Jerry, Summer, and Beth c137 and inform them that they detected the portal gun they were using.
Also the electric shock can be explained by season 3 episode 8 mortys mind blowers he could of just wiped the memory of morty being electrocuted

We do have evidence: in the intro rick leaves morty with frog monsters and why would evil morty do something like this maybe for revenge on rick for leaving him with the frog monsters and he has wires at his eyeball when he removed his eye patch and evil rick was a robot so evil morty is smart like rick and survived the frog monster attack by repairing himself with robotic parts so that's why he has wires at his eyeball and robot rick
Actually, the current morty could have been expirimenyed on and not remember, because of the newest episode "Mortys mind blowers", you find out Rick altered Mortys memory multiple times

Another reason why he abandoned evil Morty is probably that the brain waves of this smarter Morty matched the ones of Ricks. So he had to find one that isn’t as smart.
Look guys - Spoiler ALERT! The evil Morty is shown at the beginning of every episode. Him and Rick were on some crazy adventure and Rick left him there to die. Most likely on purpose because of how much of a danger Evil Morty is. There's a reason why the animators did not redo that part of the into which is the first thing you see. Remember this comment... I dunno man. Currently there are 7.5 billion people in the world right now. Some of which have bladder problems, others have diarrhea, and there are toilets everywhere! Not just in people's homes but in restaurants, stores, movie theaters, etc that are constantly being used. A billion doesn't seem _that_ far fetched when you think about it.

The robot passes the butter, then asks again "What is my purpose?" Rick answers "You pass butter", the robot says "Oh my God..." as it realizes it only has one purpose in its life. Rick then says "Welcome to the club" because Rick doesn't have more than one purpose in his life either. To entertain us...

With Morty's mind blowers, can we be sure that this theory is still applicable. We also see Jerry has some, so why wouldn't Beth? Could it be Rick didn't actually leave for 20 years, but just erased Beth's, Jerry's, and Morty's minds? Also, Rick C-137 was the most likely Rick to do the murder, so he would've been the one to frame, not to kill. Thoughts?

I still think that rick isnt from the C-137 dimension. See how familiar he is with the concept of dimensional jump in the cromemverg episode. That was clearly a man that had done the dimensional jumping lots of time.

Yes, that WAS an ep to fill for interdimensional cable (since second season one tanked badly, but IMO it wasn't because of the cable, but because a shitty B plot that I dont even remember. In the first cable, the falling apart and then hope spot of the beth and jerry marriage with the interdimensional goggles was a very solid B plot, which also tied directly with the A plot). However, there is NO indication to think that because it was somewhat of a filler its event aren't canon. We now know for sure that rick has been fiddling with everyone memory.

I had thought about some of these things a few months ago when I first watched the episodes, like how Rick seemed to know a lot about what happens when a Morty gets too powerful, or how he saw Morty as a baby. That either meant he snuck up on Morty when no one was looking or he ditched his old Morty (or Morties). This theory actually added to all that.

My theory is Evil Morty creates a load of robotic Rick's to support him with the election, meaning all of the other normal Rick's also follow. In the episode the Morty that was fired is given evidence of Evil Morty by a mysterious Rick. I think that Evil Morty created that Rick, becuase he knew that the Morty would attack him, Evil Morty got injured, which made people feel bad for him and won him the presidency, obviously he's going to use his power in the Citadel to somehow cause harm to our Rick.
