Great mods,Freddie. Never hurts to try things out and feels good when you find parts like these!
Thank you! And you're absolutely right!
coilovers under $1200 usually ride harsh
@@solidsnakec20 yup, even more expensive ones too
One more comment. If your aftermarket alternator pulley is larger than stock, it will turn slower and drop the voltage. It doesn’t take much.
I just used rockauto to determine what AC parts from an explorer fits the ranger, its great!
Yup!! Such a good tool!
You should get some coilovers. They have different settings that you can adjust, sometimes as much as 15 different settings, and you can adjust the ride height!
Coilovers are not for me
1. This is PMM and I ain't got the money for that 😆 or don't want to..
2. I've never been in a car with coilovers, especially affordable ones and thought "this drives nice"
3. I don't like the serviceability. Even if they rode ok, I don't like the idea that if one goes bad, then the car is down for weeks or months while the coilover is sent out for repair.
4. They also offer more adjustment than I need and it would just be money wasted for what I do with the car. This is a fun, dailyish street car, not a dedicated track car.
@@PoorManMods Totally messing with you brother. 😀
@blackcanyongarage hahha yeah yeah yeahhh 😜
Have you drop tested the battery - 11v when off is quite low.
Also double down on earth from the battery - make them big and to clean chassis points.
Battery is new, I think that volt meter reads a smidge low too. Also as soon as the key is turned on multiple things start drawing power
nice radiator brackets!
also what amp/sub combo are you using?
Thanks! 🤟
Thank you for sharing your mods and great finds. How do you like the headlights on your mk3 supra?
Thank you!! I love the output and cutoff line they produce but I don't love the way they look, they don't "fit" the look of the car in my opinion, but I keep them because they perform well
Thank you for your feedback. Do you have a link those headlights? I am all about function over fashion.
@@DavidLouisVIP These are not the EXACT ones, but pretty darn close

You will also need this conversion harness

Thank you very much, you're the man!
@@DavidLouisVIP youre welcome!
I wonder if for the alternator you can just swap over the casing, no?
No, different sizes
The og toyota alt internals are smaller then autoparts store alt even tho the casings are the same
Followed you since the oooold B15 Spec V days, are you taking in customers cars?
Heck yeah OG follower!!!👏👏 I currently do no work on "customer" vehicles. Just my vehicles and occasionally friends
@@PoorManMods
Booo that sucks! ☹ I still have my Spec that I want to have a some work done. On a side note would be nice to see you resurrect some B15's. Mine is sitting at 34k original miles but 64 chassis when Nissan NA replaced the motor years ago.
@@SiCaRiI_DaGgEr dang 34k miles!! I don't think I'll get another b15, it was a good car and I learned a lot but it was time for me to move onto other things. I probably won't get another Nissan unless it's an R33S skyline
@@PoorManMods
I know exactly what you mean, I have since got into the STI's and getting it built. If you're gonna get into Skylines grab one asap considering the prices are increasing on all of them, especially so since the push for EV's and EPA mandates which is causing a shift to older vehicles.
if the rear is higher, is the positive or negative rake?
When a vehicle is lower in the rear I call it squatting when it's higher in the rear I call it rake
link to cigarette voltage meter? 😮😮
Here ya gooo
amzn.to/3DpDM3H
Stay away from Koni shocks ??? They make some of the best suspension components in the industry.
For the rear for the MK3, correct.
Why don’t you want coilovers?
A few reasons.
Miss the spec
Yeahhh it was a good car, sadly it doesn't even exist anymore
@@PoorManMods I have one still. My first one got wrecked. Ended up buying another.
