what happened to finishing the 74 celica???
I’m stuck until the engine comes back and the booth opens up for me to spray it. It’ll be a week or two for the booth and engine should be here mid June.
Yea sling that Autostatic jatco junk transmission lol
@@davidross-oo2vh there are no Jatco transmissions in this channel, I don’t own a Nissan.
@@davidross-oo2vh huh???🤨🫤
Great video, I have an 85 MKII, I have the Stock Replica 17X10 17X9 Staggered offset Wheels on it with a 1jz-gte swap.
This video is full of so many winning elements: sweet Supra, retro music, timely jump-cuts, fascinating teardown and hilarious banter. 👏👏👏
You are getting to do something that I wanted to do but being a woman it was very rare I got to really work on my or friends cars. Now 65 I love seeing you do Everything with car repair! Your so funny too, your Grandma would be so proud!!
Your constant dedication to doing everything exactly right, to the smallest detail, is quite inspiring. I can tell because now I'm starting to get even more that way myself! 😅
It's details that separate the exemplary from the excellent.
This woman a force of nature 👏👏😉👏 10/10 these videos just been binge watching the back catalogue way better than whats on the TV
Sarah, your videos ARE awesome and entertaining, so you SHOULD be proud of them! You earn the right!
Absolutely love your videos. Lots of editing must be such a pain, but you do such a great job with it. Definitely my favorite car content videos!! Keep going Sarah and I'll keep watching
Ditto!
Sarah, I love your channel, be nutty, stay weird, but please ... pay yourself first. Each and every small business owner must do this.
Yes. Agree 100%.
Yes absolutely.
Should be putting some of the income aside into some kind of retirement fund
Ditto
Income is taxable.
I love both these builds! Can't wait to see how they turn out
for not getting into the drawing but here is some money anyway. Keep doing what you do.
FYI, learned to drive a stick on a first gen Celica Supra.
Another display of massive technical ability and charm. Nice going Airman!
Fantastic new day to day transitions, and I understand you are proud of your content. Kill it!!!
Your videos and projects are fantastic. You have every right to be proud of what you're creating, both the cars and the videos. I know I'm far from alone in looking forward to your next video and seeing what you've managed to accomplish. Keep it up, Sarah!
I recently found your channel, while researching a Porsche I was blasting. So glad I found this channel! Your videos are the best!🤘
You make it very easy to watch! Witty and funny, yet very thorough and informed. You're so jazzy!🎷🎶
I'm digging the Supera too.👌
Love the James May and Keanu cut-outs hanging out with you while you work. I can just hear James May muttering and cursing under his breath everytime you throw a tool on the ground. Haha!
Weird is good and stay that way. 😂🎉❤
Hope to see how well these auctions are.
Thank you Sarah and for serving.
I’m a 46 year old heavy duty mechanic that has always been into JDM cars . Thank you for producing content that isn’t just fluff, goofing off and ads. Hands on work is the best content. Keep up the great work, love your stuff.
Thanks 🙏🏻
Any Ace of Bass reference is golden, the cars are toot sweet as well!!
Don’t ever apologize for installing a tape deck! 😂 the centrifugal jams force of the tape spindles is a performance enhancement.
You SHOULD be proud of your videos Sarah, they are AWESOME
I will be one of those that will always watch your videos of working on cars. I never consider them boring. There is always something to new to learn. Its like cat television with some Rob Zombie thrown in (this time). Keep going :) .
I really enjoy all the work you put on your videos. Thanks for the great work!
So glad you have help. So glad it is AFC.
You should be proud as these are works of art and fascinating
The standard is perfection nothing less
ok, lots of 90's retro there. Surprised to hear the lyrics to dragula just randomly LOL. The car content here is just as eclectic as your taste in music :)
Another insightful amd joy to watch. The quality and commentary is always first class. Content Queen!!!
It's awesome to see a lady take interest in working on automobiles! Kudos too you!
Great, now I can't stop looping "I can see clearly now the rain... ♫♪" in my head
Your videos are always enjoyable...informative and well done. As a semi retired shade tree mechanic...jack of all trades master of some...Army Veteran...I appreciate your integrity and work ethic. Don't forget to take time off and take the Bronco wheeling with your family and friends.
I miss my first car. 1983 Celica/Supra. It was the transition year before Toyota went full Supra models in 1984. Such a fun little car to drive.
Great sound effect when you described the condition of the cat covert. I had to listen to that a few times.
My dad recommended you I’ve recently been showing so much interest in cars I like how how you explain thank you !!!!!!!
Sarah you are the greatest. I cant believe you're doing another giveaway. Thank you.
I have a third lined up for the end of the year, don’t have the car yet.. but have a plan for one.
that shot and logo at 7:00 looks great!
Happy Friday Sarah!!!
You should absolutely be proud of all your vids, your punctuality, presentation, knowledge and humor bring great credit upon yourself and your You Tube channel.😁
High5 to Angel!
Stay excellent!!!😎
Thanks
I really enjoy your disassemble videos. Especially when you're surprised by something
Thanks!
Uh oh, Sarah is starting to unbolt things ! The OCD will kick in soon, and we'll be treated to another full meal deal restoration. It's gonna be awesome.
You can get a long locking 3 foot impact extention and some impact wobbly sockets and take the bellhousing bolts with an impact
Watching you turn wrenches and being witty. Just having fun! Love it.. awesome job with the editing.. music.. subtitles.. so proud of you !!!!!
I will echo what Brian said, make sure you have a positive revenue stream from all the work you do. Paying yourself from your success is actually more selfless because it enables you to continue the work that we all love to see!
I though I had opened a music video...but Sarah was singing. Karaoke whilst dismantling Kars. Love it. Thank you Sarah for brightening up my Saturday morning (Australia) with you charm and beauty. Only special girls get down and dirty under a vehicle. Stay safe (no jumping off hoists/lifts) get disposable staff to do that.
Sarah and Angel are fun and adorkable. I want to hang out with them and work on cars so much!!
I was 12 in '82, my dad bought this SUPRA in turbo manual, I loved driving and maintaining it 😻
There was no M-TEU available for the 2nd generation here in the states unfortunately.
@@SarahnTuned what? Then 80' or 81' but certainly was a manual - I might be wrong about a turbo though. It's been 40ish years LOL 😸
I had an 83, put rear wheel arches, tailgate and a full respray on it ❤
Huge celica fan. Looking forward to seeing the finished product!
If I had space for a real lift, I would’ve installed 1 by now. Everything is so much easier with a real lift. 👍🏻
I recognize all the songs but I can never remember the name of the groups/bands. The only one I remember straight away is Ace of Base. 😉😎
1 of the few CZcamsrs who aren’t constantly promoting useless products or incorporating them into their vids. Can’t thank you enough for your dedication and all out honesty. 👏🏻
Your editing is top notch as well as how you present. A major reason why I always look forward to your vids. 👍🏻🙂
I'm weeping for those wheels, they're sick retro. Like something out of "Space 1999"
I had one of these with the 3 ltr none turbo , loved the car , but the engine started tapping, was told head gasket was on way out , ended up trading it in for another Japanese car . Regret not keeping it . Had it in red , I've had 4 celicas over the years . And 2 mr2s . Great video once again .
Great video Sarah. My first car was a 1981 1/2 supra, 5 speed. This is inspiring.
It's gonna be a bright, bright, bright Sarah sunshiny day! Always a fun video from Sarah.
we're proud of you too Super Sarah! 😀👍 thanks for all you do to provide quality, informative and entertaining content.
I watch all your videos. With a great big smile
Anyone who gets bored watching your videos is in great need of help! Your videos are fun. You explain things while you do them and you know how to entertain even when the content may be snoresville. That isn’t easy! I’m Team Sarah and have been since the early days! Long may the Sarah flag wave. Say thank you to your veteran friends. We appreciate it more than you know! Go Team Sarah!👍🏻😁🛠
Shit yeah! Any hater doesn't LOVE at least one has a lump of coal where a soul should be.
Wow this car is so clean! Thanks for having the 3XL shirts!
You should be proud of your videos, they are brilliant!
All the shirts are really cool.
Got the one with Sarah on, am getting the other Celica next.
I appreciate you mentioning how good those engines sound. My first one had all stock except for a glass pack muffler and still sounded great.
I love it when these cars are freshened up. Bought a tee, I dont think i'll win but I dont want you to take a hit from saving cool cars.
Sing-a-long with Sarah. An added dimension to your videos. How imaginative. Just love it.
I can't wait for the Christmas album. 😂
Eric O. from South Main Auto: “If I can do it, you can do it.”
Sarah from Sarah-n-’Tuned: “Don’t do what I do.”
An eclectic array of music in this video...🤠
I have a 1984 Toyota Celica GT Hatchback. Seeing this video/series is very appreciated because there is so little content on youtube when it comes to these cars! I love Celicas and my car shares so many similar parts with this 83 Celica Supra so I greatly appreciated this video and cannot wait for more. I will definitely support this channel and these videos in whatever way possible 🙏🏽
Holy sh*t. That is hard work.
I dig the ending with the closing garage door..
at the end i loved hearing you say " I'm proud of the videos i make ".
Loving the 80s Miami vice graphics and loving the singing too JX
Great video, gotta love those 80’s Toyotas !
Well that answers my question I miss that whole part about you changing out the wheels
I'm SO excited about this restoration. I owned a turbocharged 85" P-Type Black with a red stripe down the sides and a heavy rake. I've always wanted to recreate and fully restore that car. it's the reason I started my channel. I can't wait to see what you do with this. 🔥 🔥 🔥 👏🏽
Rob Zombie was in there for sure.
Watching and listening to you is kind of addictive.
You can get old school looking tape players with Bluetooth, or some people have had Bluetooth added to them through a bit of soldering work, that would be the best of both worlds
Be nice to find the original flairs for the black Celica. A friend of mine had one when we were young.
I have a set, problem is you have to cut up the wheel arch and drill holes in the fenders to install them. Not doing that to this one.
My favorite CZcamsr and one of my all time favorite cars. I’m so excited 😊
Please sing. Every episode. I love it. Never change you. It's why I keep coming back.
SOAD is my all time favourite!
Sarah N Tuned and Angel Food Cake - the Musical. Loved this episode!! I recognized most of the songs except for the song about a dagger falling on your baby and seeing the dead in your eyes.
You have the voice of an angel...not mentioning what KIND of angel but, you are angelic. Not saying what Kind of angel but, you are.
Don't get hurt Sarah.
I'm one of those weirdos that watched all the sanding videos, and I'm not into body work, but was still interesting
I'm with ya, it's like ASMR for car nerds.😊
80s Kaido? Nice! This car will look fantastic with deep dish wheels.
Do a tape player with a Bluetooth receiver. The best of both worlds!
FYI: Brillantis is the model name for the tires, their brand is Barum, a Czech manufacturer owned by Continental AG. They're a budget friendly alternative to Continental ones. It's a popular brand in Europe, in fact, I have Barum winter tires on my 2003 Toyota Avensis T25.
Love how you’re still tearing into stuff and can talk to the camera.
Must be so much stop start but you know what ya doing to keep the content interesting.
❤
I owned two Celicas of this generation: an 83 GTS hatchback in red that I bought new, and several years later a nearly identical '84. A very well- balanced chassis that can be thrown around with confidence. The 22RE engine isn't a monster, but it's torquey and moves the car quickly enough. These days it's very hard to find one that's not a complete rust bucket. I keep looking though.
😂😂😂😂😂this has to be one of the funniest videos you've done and the Supra's not bad either, thank you for being so dammed entertaining 👍 I'll have what Sarah's drinking 🤣🤣🤣
Just for poops n giggles simple tire dot (you know the rest) has a Kumho Solus TA51a in that 195/70/14 for $90 a tire shipped in case you wanted to know.
Ha, cool. I love these. (Also if you can find a suitable cassette head unit, an aux jack is really handy. The cassette deck adapters are terrible. ) (Also I think 15s were normally what you got on Supras, those big Spiderman-logo looking ones. Possibly 16s, but they may be a bit early for that. The ones you have might be found on like a Celica GT. )
I miss my 84 Celica gts. That was a fun car. Rwd with a 5spd. That lil shit was fun to drive. Awesome video 🤘🤘
Just enjoying this video again. Such a cool car!
Sarah, when your channel first arrived in a recommended video you were in the earlier stages of the Focus Rally car build, and that captured my interest therefore I've stuck around as I mostly dig the other cars/projects you've taken on sans the Beetle. As a fan of Gen 1-3 Celica and later the dedicated Supra I'm obviously tuning in. I worked 18 years in the collision repair world so I've seen plenty of that sort of stuff. I say this to say...post what YOU WANT, try not to bow to the viewers whims as we can be a fickle bunch....I'm missing all the Focus fun.
If possible, I’d recommend trying to find a blaupunkt Bremen sqr 46. It looks very period corrext and I have one in my 1986 4Runner and love it. USB ports are a little iffy but Bluetooth works perfectly and visually it looks so right.
Raptor racing sells a nice stainless exhaust system, you can copy it yourself though and use the nice magnaflow twin tip that looks like the OEM style.
I think adding a tape player is perfect.
Best shirt so far: the red one of coarse.
If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball
Truer words were never spoken. Stay hard Rip Torn 💪rest in peace.
Also- if you need more space for cars, Angels shop (the Glue Factory) has plenty of space!
❤ once again you're just the best Sarah thanks
My Kei truck would love those 14" Wheels.
knows every song but the white zombie one...was a suprise!!
