At my last visit earlier this year the car showed was the facelift version from Taxi Taxi. I very much prefer the design of the first version as it isn't as much over the top and closer to the 406 STW

Hell, most widebody kits you see on the road are simply plastic shells plastered on the original body. And a tip there is to fill them with foam for stability.

That's a nice replica, just for context: The sound of the Taxi 406 is actually taken from the super touring 406 4 cylinder race engine, it's why the V6 in real life never sounds the same even though Daniel mentions his car has one. Since the car for the movie was a dressed up Peugeot 406 from german touring car, the sound is still a souped up 4 cylinder with straight gears transmission
The 406 phase1 (preface) is such and beautiful lookin car with those nice clear looking tail lights. I have had two 406 V6 Sv -97 myself and my first one i had it look like the Btcc 406 one in the Green color. I still have very rare styling parts to 406 and some body trim parts. And i'm going to pick up an estate 406 V6 soon. They have really great performance and sound soo damn good with cat back exhaust and open air filter. This video was epic and it was so damn great movies with Samy!! Without Samy the movies was 👎! You gotta get Samy to sign this one!! Awsome build and video 10/10 👌🙏

I was massively dissatisfied with my last trip to France, that I didn't see a single 406 on the road. I owned one myself 20 years ago and it was a bloody brilliant car to drive. The film is legendary and this build is amazing
Dude, mine is sleeping in the garage most of the time, almost museum state, doing about 2000km per year, It's not a V6, only a 2.2 HDi but consumption is ridiculous. I'm able to do more than 1300km per fill at 5.1L/100km. I drive more my 206 or 306 as daily. True that with time there are always less on the road or with an average condition.
Im amazed that you actually made a FUNCTIONING front and rear wings, and not just something for show. That and parts made of aluminium make me think, that some of you are fellow aeronautical hobbyists :) Great work and a great looking car!
