It's stupid they're listing by the rear brakes, but that's a good way to determine what engine it has. When I was calling dealers about getting a 5-speed manual IS300, I'd ask immediately if there were any buttons on the steering wheel. If they said yes, I hung up immediately, before they started spouting "you can manually shift the automatic" bullshit.
The rear disc brakes is for the 2zzfe engine the 1zzfe engine has the drums. But now we all know especially if you own a celica, corolla, and a Matrix.
The Supra curse continues lol it's become its own legacy and legend now. Btw, remember us talking about that k series you found in your new garage? Through a series of unfortunate events (cough cough private seller scammed us on a car), we had to find another daily driver, so we found a 05 Honda Element and now I'm in possession of my own k series lol I don't have the means yet, and ik it'll never be a fast car, but I keep imagining it with 500hp, lowered enough for stability but not to be troublesome daily, and picturing it with white advan tri spokes. I never thought I'd like an Element but they're lovable in a quirky way. It's sunset orange btw for picturing the wheels on it.
"I don't have the means yet" lol it'd be nice, but doing a full project from nothing is expensive lol but I cant get the idea out of my head. You don't really see anyone build out Elements often in the jdm/tuner scene we're from. Usually camping overlanding style. I did see one Element used in Formula Drift I think? But wouldn't a fun 500hp k series, daily with space like small minivan be fun? I still think you guys should use that k for something!
That'd be an awesome idea! The rotory they used for the 8 definitely wasn't as robust as the 7, and if I recall, wasn't turbo? So that'd be a phenomenal build idea!

hi bro, i've a question thought u could perhaps help me out - so i have a 2JZ-gte twin turbo (non vvti ) auto engine from an aristo, as well as a 1jz-gte twin turbo (non vvti) r154 manual engine, i was wondering is it possible to interchange/swap the transmissions with each other? meaning the 1jz r154 manual tranny gets bolted to the 2jz-gte, and the a340 auto trans from the 2j gets bolted to the 1jz?? thanks
Definitely right I brought small rotors for a Mazda b3000 (ford ranger but with a Mazda) and I actually got the 4wheel drive rotors and not the 2 wheel drive rotors.

So much sighing. At least you're out of bed and doing something worthy my man.
Absolutely 😁 🤟
are the coils for 1zz, 2zz and 2az ? is that the rear brake difference?
the coils i wanted originally and installed at the end are 1ZZ coils, the ones that were incorrect are 2zz i believe

that sounds like a ford move in parts or design change. wrong part that bites man
