Literally millions of real human-style individuals on Earth just schedule Windows to update when they shut down their PC for the night. I don’t get how this is so complicated and inconvenient.
Because thegeniusguy never shuts down his pc, puts it to sleep for actual MONTHS
As far as I know every windows OS asks before running an update. I have windows 11 and I usually schedule it at night but it will ask if you don't do this. Windows 10 is most likely the same.

This is a very scary insight into the life of Phil Burnell. The way he despises how much he’s “told” what to do by something or someone gives anyone valid assumptions to how much he despised his parents guidance and instructions in life and how it was in all intended purposes a wasted effort.

When I shut down my computer at night if it says 'update and shut down' I just pick that option and don't think about it again. How is Dave manufacturing an issue out of this
The problem is, this buffoon doesn't turn off his laptop because his Tab settings on his Browser reset. Legit that was one of his answer he gave a few years ago.

The most hilarious part about this is that whenever Phil pulls one of these tantrums he eventually folds like a cheap suit and does exactly what he said he would never do. How many times have we heard him say. "I'm not going to put up with this anymore!" "They can kiss my ass I don't care what they say!" Phil likes to talk tough but he has zero backbone.

I run windows 11 and you can schedule your updates like in every other OS before. It quite literally asks you before it runs the update. Again like every other windows OS in existence.
Windows 8.1 hasn't gotten updates for at least a year, i know because a family member of mine has an old windows 8.1 computer and they don't get virus updates anymore either. So him talking about updates is incredibly suspicious.
Also when DSP says "other things" regarding his pc and what he uses it for, hes talking about discord lol. obviously.
@duidave4737 Oh i know, i was referring to all the times he was complaining about the streaming pc that has windows 8.1, im pretty sure he would complain about updates on their as well, but maybe i was wrong? Either way he has until next year to upgrade that laptop since windows 10 is reaching end of service already lol.

It was a tough week for Phil, he had to deal with auto updates, had to change his schedule 3 times, and wake up at 9 AM one time

Windows 10 has this great feature that lets you reopen windows that were running before restarting/shutting down. In the exact same configuration.

As a streamer that uses virtual audio cables, every time windows updates, the only thing it changes is my audio. A slight annoyance but not enough for me to be as angry as the guy.

There was a period of time when my updates (on Windows 10) always failed so for like a period of a year or 2 years I was having to delay it and in that time not once did it tell me I couldn't delay it anymore. The issue is fixed now and when there's an update I tell it to install and shut down, then it just finishes when I turn my computer on each day.

21:20 There are things called "patch notes" that will tell what happens with each update. Microsoft has an option to check it out their tech notes with ujpdates. But of course, you cant tell dsp that. You cant tell dsp anything.
Imagine if Microsoft decided that when you buy Windows, you get the version as of that day and if you want any updates, you'd have to pay for them.
