- In this episode we continue to explore the Aegadian Islands and hit the water as much as we can. We install our new Mantus Bridal system and retire the old snubber. We then decide it's time to leave and head for the Northern coast of Sicily. Our destination, Cefalu! We arrive right before dark and get settled into a breathtaking anchorage.

Looking at the scenery there with them Hills and cliffs gives you a new appreciation for how hard it must have been for the Allied troops to invade Sicily during World War II

From Cefalu to Palermo is a gorgeous sail too. Along the way a small resort town called San Nicola L'Arena has a cute port too with a little castle and then the Torre Normama (Fort) in sight from there.

What date were you in Cefalu? Islands were overwhelmed with Italian , mostly and French this summer. They couldn’t travel except at home.No available rooms so you were fortunate to arrive by boat .
We were there around second week of July. Was plenty of space to anchor and so beautiful.
