We loved our time on Mackinac Island and stayed at the same KOA when we were there. We had some great food over on the island and bought fudge from each of the fudge shops on the island. After watching this I think we may have to go back!

The Mighty Mac , if your scarred to drive across on your own , drivers on both ends of the Bridge are provided free of charge , St. Ignace car show every year , we ride our motorcycles across it , ride the inside lane , on the grading so you can see the water below you , it’s a Rush !
Mackinac Island - sounds like loads of fun and cool weather, in May and in July.

When you guys we boarding the ferries to and from the Island, someone was suprisingly jamming some nice music lol.. I'm from lower Michigan(Detroit)

We live just south of “the bridge”. I always would just meditate when we drove our class an over to the U.P. I stayed at that campground (not sure it was a koa then) in 1971. Our parents took us north (from Detroit area). We did a circle trip, camping around the U.P. In a tent camper. Loved it.
We wished we could have gotten over to the UP. We will definitely do it next time.

Welcome to Michigan! Wait 5 minutes, the weather will change! Hahaha! Lots of walking on Mackinac Island. My wife and I were there middle of July with my son and his family from Nebraska. Nice video, hope you enjoyed!
We enjoyed Mackinaw and look forward to getting back there one day.
We must have just missed you! We were there on July 13, 2024. We camped at Brevoort Lake Campground and traveled to the island from St. Ignace. Wish we had taken the tour also. We did bike the entire perimeter (about 8 miles).
Wow…we briefly considered the bikes but it was so cool and breezy that day. We enjoyed the carriage ride.

i've been going to mackinac island for over 20 years. i really like the slower pace of life. it's gotten pretty expensive, especially the food.
Yes, it is beautiful and expensive! We enjoyed our day there and hope to get back sometime in the near future.

I haven’t been to the Island in 45 years , is it still all just bicycle rentals to get around to see the Island , I’ve got a friend that was the head butcher at the Grand Motel , they cut up huge amounts of meat every single day , and the people that worked there came from everywhere , not just America , seasonal workers
Hello…we did the carriage ride. It was a lot of fun. We noticed that there were different nationalities working on the island.
@@AllAboutTheBanks didn’t go for a carriage ride when I went there , was hoping to get to ride a 10 speed , but Dad rented me a single speed , Banana-seat with Ape hanger handle bars , up hill sucked ! And I ate to much Fudge that day , had a belly ache that night , they didn’t have Butterflies then either , hope you enjoyed yourselves
