- We are back! Finally! After everything this year has brought, we weren't sure what to do. Do we continue sailing? Will certain places be in total lockdown? It was looking pretty grim at some points. But in June, once Spain opened up it's borders, within the Schengen zone we decided to take our chances and prepare Zephyr for a journey around the Mediterranean.
We definitely put her through her paces. In this episode we set sail for Ibiza with Nats brother and his friend Alex. After spending some great time in Ibiza and Fomentera, we head to Sardinia. The sail to Sardinia turns out to be pretty eventful after catching a tuna. Woo Hoo...food for days!

Poor James slaved away getting Zephyr all shined up and his 'partner in crime' not even an "attaboy" for the effort lol! Anyway the reward is there for all to see - gleaming!!! James, what did you decide re the screens in the dodger? Notice the 'lads' are pretty comfy now on the sailboat - could become addictive if their sister keeps offering encouragement 😉 Sailing was on point.

welcome back! re the anchor swivel, if you secure the anchor throung the elongsted hole thus obtaining a sliding effect of the shackle from the aft end of the stock to the foreward extreme this will give you more chance of lfting the anchor in case of it being stuck, this because in such a cse you can drive the engine ahead and pull out the anchor....my 2 cents worth..
