- In this weeks episode we find ourselves no longer in the Tyrrhenian Sea as we cross the Messina Strait. We encounter the swordfish fisherman on their very abnormal looking boats as well as a ton of messy whirlpools. As we enter the Ionian Sea we are greeted by a ton of different dolphin pods, it really doesn't get much better than this. Nat finds herself enjoying her new found treasure (somebody else's trash) and James continues to try out his luck with fishing. Towards the end we finally make the jump to Corfu, Greece! So excited for the new adventure.....although it may seem that the adventure and drama unfolds earlier than we thought with an unexpected visit out on the open water and in the middle of the night!

we had the same encounter with the Italians - bright spot light -no nav lights - no AIS - buggers... scared the sh*t out of us. no VHF contact.
So scary! Glad we weren’t the only ones to go through that though! The menacing light getting closer and closer is crazy scary!

Great video thanks for sharing reminded of the day in 1983 as a young traveler I left Brindisi in Italy on an overnight ferry crossing to Corfu and how excited I was the next morning arriving and seeing this whole new world in front of me I loved Greece and it's people and I spent 4 months traveling around the islands and the mainland enjoy yourselves.

Great episode... The fisherman with the top of mast look out and extended forward platform were most likely fishing for sword fish and blue fin tuna. They harpoon them...

The guy that's way out on the pulpit is probably the Harpoon man and the guy up on top of the mass is looking out and he shouts down the guy up front throws the harpoon

That was a Tuna fishing boat, the guy up the mast spots the Tuna and the guy out on the bowsprit is the harpoon man.
