I think, the whole fandom is behind you, when you say, that the fights in Original DB are better, because in Super, it's nearly all about Ki attacks. Yes, Super has it's moments. But those are mostly, when a KI attack is a game changer or it's finally down to a normal fight with the pure fighter bodies

Aimin… I’ve been watching you since you were just watching fight highlights from this show. Since you mentioned Jackthebus when playing Kakarot and decided to go your own path when consuming this story…
Your reactions have gotten better. But you mentioned it last episode and you mentioned it again. You see it for yourself. Before Battle of Gods released, I was convinced after watching Dragonball that Dragonball IS better than Dragonball Z when it comes to choreography.
It’s what got me into liking shows like Yu Yu Hakusho and Naruto… Dragonball Z is a step down in creativity with more reused frames. More ki attacks and flying with rapid movements that we can’t really get into and ultimately less unique powers.
Everyone can do the same moves… No 4 arms there. No stretching and getting big there except for movies. Kaoken and spirit bomb was cool but it’s just fast movement and an energy attack. Dragonball has been better ever since its first arc ended.
Z had its moments and so does Super… but Dragonball was a full experience where even the fillers seem less wasted.

Yeah I agree, DBS and even some parts of the Buu saga are filled with Ki spams which make the fights less interesting and enjoyable imo.
Piccolo has the ability to absorb his opponents energy... And use it for hus own. Hmmmm, where in the modern Dragon Ball Arc have I heard about that technique before.
Not sure if I am wrong but I think this is the first time Goku has bled like this in DB. Like his fight wih King Piccolo he just had scars and broken bones but didn't really bleed like he did here

It's something a lot of people said but people are on the hype train, i prefer both DB and DBZ over DBS for a couple of reasons, bad art being one but a minor issue, pacing being a really big issue and the reuse of tropes and retconning being the largest of all, just sad theres so many fans that get outraged over it.
When i say bad art, the scene where piccolo steps on Goku (the smear) is done as well during the Beerus vs Goku fight in Goku's SSJ3, somehow, that same scene looks quality in DB and had to be remastered twice in DBS and to my opinion, still came out looking amateuristic.
Not to say that DBS didn't have good moments, it tried to balance DB and DBZ into one series but it lacked the soul both shows had sitting in the middle.
