No one was hype about Forspoken and Square Enix knew that because preorders sale numbers. CZcamsrs bearly talked about it. Sad but true.
I love that Ralph forgets its called Forspoken and calls it Forsaken which is honestly a more accurate description.

The award choices were wild, I'm glad you mentioned Stray, Cyberpunk, and Death Stranding's strange placings in the awards. Hopefully we get another Outer Wilds this year to make things easier next year.
Hitman 3 also won best VR game despite its VR being half-assed and pretty awful in comparison to actually good VR games.
I really hate player choice awards. A moronic critic having a moronic opinion is fun to mock. But realising that half the population are utterly incompetent is just depressing.

Forspoken feels like a tech demo that was never properly extended into a full game.
I tried it and I dunno... Do you ever get that feeling of "empty shell" from the graphics? Like you can feel it's an empty model under all the textures. It kinda takes away all of the immersion.

It’s amazing to me how you have people at these companies that don’t actually produce anything that they still keep their jobs while making 50-100 million a year plus bonuses. They don’t get let go. You let the people go that produce the products while making less than 100K a year.

It’s the same in so many industries (from what I have seen). Not enough technically skilled and gifted people, more of the corporate type of people who only look at profits. We need more passion, developers and incentives to make creative and consumer friendly games. Even Skyrim, a pretty broken game still holds to this day as one of the best games due to the team behind it. It’s a shame where the world is gojng

I just don't want people to go into this presentation with insane expectations and be disappointed when they're not met. Go into this Developer Direct just expecting to see more info about Redfall, Minecraft Legends, Forza Motorsport, and ESO, and that's it. Xbox may throw in a surprise or two, but this isn't some big E3-type blowout presentation, so don't expect that.
Probably delayed. I would be surprised if it still makes it for the first semester this year

The Forspoken hate really seems like one big circlejerk of gamers/journalists who can't or won't play the game to form their own opinion on it, so instead they just hatefuck it in the comments.
It runs like crap on PC and the writing reeks of Marvel movie scripts.
