- There are 3 pillars to improving sleep that are vital:
-Routine: This is what you do day to day with some level of consitency. It is the habits that you form in succession. Improving your routine surrounding sleep such as time you go to bed and the activities leading up to that are absolutely vital for improvement.
-Environment: This pillar is what is going to support your routine. If you have an environment which supports positive habits it will be much easier to do them in the long term. Environment can also help to reduce friction in many cases.
-Supplements: If you managed to fix both the routine and the environment and are still having issues with sleep maybe supplementation can help you. Before supplementing try to get as much of the vital nutrients and vitamins through an adequate and balance diet.
If you manage to improve and optimise all three pillars of sleep you will see a great increase in sleep quality and overall consistency. Good luck!
