I remember watching the Superbowl incident live on TV, I was 11 at that time. As an 11 year old I never understood why Janet caught 90% of the blame when Justin was involved as well. When Janet was on Oprah Winfrey show back in 06' she hinted that Justin "threw her under the bus".
You can’t erase the legacy of Janet. Her career has been strong since mid 70s when she started out with her brothers, and her music career has been going on almost 40 years. Her career may have taken a "hit" at one point, but even then, she still had #1 hits, #1 album (twice) in the country, NAACP Movie award, NYs #1 Best Selling Book (True You), endorsements on NutriSystem, and number one singles. If That doesn’t speak legendary status enough, then what what does?
