I agree, quality of her music has been dipping lately. Honestly, I didn’t listen to Taylor’s music till her Lover album(which I loved) and in my opinion, her two following albums were the crowing achievement of Taylor’s song writing at her best(which is kind of odd because she credit her ex on many of the songs). I think that we are at a point where she could just record 5 hrs just pure noise and people would still go out and buy the album

Lowkey I’m like “you’re brave for this.” I haven’t been able to get into Taylor since reputation, and that was the first album I liked. And apparently the swifties didn’t particularly like it, which makes me think it’s just a stylistic issue where I don’t vibe with her sound.

I agree, I feel like a lot of them sounded the same. Her vocal range didn't vary in most songs and they kept the same pace and tempo. She seems to be playing it safe rn. That really blows bc she's spanned so many different genres over the years.

we really need big change in how society views female aging. it is absolutely horrendous that there's a stigma around something as natural as aging, & its even gotten worse lately with the rise things like incel rhetoric & skincare obsession.

I thought the album was great overall, with its fair share of hits and misses. When folklore and evermore first came out there was a lot of backlash too. If you don't like it then it's really a you problem.

What they said about Dinah reminds me of what they said about Naturi's voice being "too soulful" (though for her she also partially got pushed to the back of 3LW because she's a dark skinned Black woman like Normani) compared to Kiely Williams 's and Adrienne Baillon's in 3LW. I had to stop this after I realized this is just a video of a younger man....trying to articulate and narrate eras I've lived through.....repeating information I already know....while low-key justifying Madonna's hideous face (....and I didn't even get to her narcissistic exploitation of her adopted African children). A lot of the songs were very flat; it was pretty disappointing. I knew from the moment the singles were released that the album wasn't going to be for me. She took that long to release such a flat album? I don’t know. I feel like artists should start releasing music more frequently and not wait years. Well, at least most artists should, because people like Beyoncé can disappear and come back with hit after hit. But these artists are producing music that sounds like it was mixed and mastered in a week. I was hoping the second single would be good, but nope. Then, her third single was just horrid. It screams 'Forever 21 music,' and not in a good way. There are songs like 'Physical,' which, in my opinion, is her best song. The desperation, the feels, the scream, and the passion in 'Physical,' and in the entire 'Future Nostalgia' album in general, is something I’m afraid she won’t be able to top unless she actually invests time into her music. I'd rather listen to 'Sweetest Pie' than this new album again.

I mean as a skinny person I wasn’t at all offended by the song. I can name so many everyday privileges I’m handed just from being thin and so one catchy song calling someone with my body type a b**** does not do nearly as much damage as our society has done to larger body people.

P.S. Clearly a beautiful girl but why do her facial expressions are always so off-putting? People can love or hate the album that doesn't matter its just opinion, but when people say the 1830s line is "disturbing" it just throws me off because that is such a immature, and chronically online, reaction to such a simple line. "I was a kid once and i loved romanticism and I'd thought living in the age of it would be cool. But im an adult now and that doesn't seem as cool". It makes almost zero sense to call it disturbing in my opinion..
