I haven't heard her new song, but given the huge, well documented history of "gay pop" I can't believe it's going to be anything groundbreaking if she believes releasing an overtly gay pop song is unique.

I'd argue that if your calling isn't music, then there's no point in getting involved in the music industry. Jojo Siwa in particular has been outed as someone who bought the rights to someone else's song, changed only one of the lyrics, and then passed it off as if she wrote it. She may not have even done any of the vocals. Like, whats even the purpose of doing music at that point? To make money? Cause you're not adding anything of value to the music industry.
This applies to more than just music - it also applies to bs products like drop shipped clothes and skincare lines
@@Justauri-asdfghjkl I'd agree with that too, but I made this specific to music because, as an art, I expect to get something personal from the artist, some passion, something deep within themselves. It defeats the purpose of music as an expressive medium to just buy the rights to someone else's song and use someone else's vocals and pass it off as your own. It becomes just like any other commodity thats bought and sold (like skincare and make up like you mentioned) and ceases to be an extension of a musician's artistic expression.
