  • If I could go back in time to one year ago when I quit my stable 9-5, there are definitely some things I would do differently before embarking on this journey.
Did you quit your job? Are you planning on quitting your job? I'd love to hear your experience in the comments below.

Being spiritually in tune as well as being a humanitarian all while working in corporate is so draining.

I would never quit my job without another one lined up and an emergency fund that covers at LEAST 6 months of expenses. But my job is so draining. I think about quitting every single week. I still don't quit because I have neither of those two things. Even worse because I work at a small business, we "family" n stuff haha

I fully support having an emergency fund! My job was becoming too detrimental to my health for me to stay but I could have made better financial decisions. There are plenty of interim jobs out there to sustain you until you find something else you truly enjoy - maybe worth exploring. Wish you best of luck, nothing lasts forever ❤️

I had no idea you were back uploading i have to go back and watch the few videos i missed. But im about 7 months into quitting my job. Your video was one of the best ones that made me make the push. The thing that hasnt gotten easier is seeing my bank account go down and not having money come in at that old rate as well. I've been in africa the last few months and my views on money have heen changing a lot. I think we are conditioned to convince ourselves that we need more than we do. But im definitely following your jorney because we are so similar. Good luck! I would definitely recommend squeezing in some travel if you haven't and can

I relate to this. I want to quit my job and start my own business, but I have planned only little details. I am 24 and I feel like I should do something dumb and risky. Financially I think I am fine, enough money to live like now and pay rent for the next 3 years. I will quit when I have more details and confirmation after talking to my possible customers, partners and suppliers.
    Thanks for the video.

3 years savings!! That’s amazing. I def would have put in my resignation letter 😂 I support taking some more time to plan details, being an entrepreneur is quite the responsibility but with organization, I trust you’ll be successful! Good luck

Thanks for sharing, often times people don't talk about post quitting and things possibly getting shaky. Glad you're in a better place now. Could you use your language skills as an online tutor for an additional stream of income? Would love to see the follow up, thanks.

Thank you! I have considered online tutoring, definitely. I’m a big fan of Lingoda and have been thinking about how I can move some things around to also tutor ☺️
