Love the tips!
We moved to Houston on a whim and a prayer, lol but all it takes is faith, prayer, and determination!
Look you got to do what you got to do!
Hey sis tuning in 🎉
I’m proud of you and your accomplishments! ❤
Thank you sis 💕🫶🏾
These are great tips. I moved to Texas from New York awhile ago now. Definitely agree with visiting first, especially if you have kids .
Thank you ☺️
Journey joined!😊
Aww yay! I’m glad you joined us! 🫶🏾💕
I love this!! I’ve been wanting to move out of my hometown for a very long time now. Did you know anyone in Dallas when you moved either time? If not, was that difficult for you?
You should ☺️…fortunately for me I did know some people here!
I’ve always wanted to relocate and then chicken out. Shout out to you for not doing it once but twice. 🙌🏾💪🏾. Great tips also.
It’s a journey for sure..thank you! ☺️ & thank you for watching my video! Love your channel & content 🫶🏾
Hows the weather? I hear TX has a lot of bad storms@LifeWithTerraneka
@@lifehealthlove the weather has been crazy here lately. This is my first year experiencing this many tornadoes & so much rain!
Thanks for the video, what temp agency did you use if I may ask?
Hey, of course..A few I would look into would be Aerotek, Ashton Carter, Robert Half, Cornerstone, Express to name a few to get started.
How’s the healthcare in Dallas if you aren’t employed yet? Any type of programs?
Hmm that’s a great question, I’m not 100% on that! TX has standard govt assistance programs if you need it. I have always had insurance through my company.
What did you do about after school childcare and school holidays?
Hey, I do have a supportive village..some times she went with her dad or my mom for the most part!
I like that fact you have a saving number 3-5k should be sufficient for me to save before moving to Dallas.
Yes, every situation is different! Best wishes ☺️
Question, did you get approved without providing proof of employment? Did you have a co signer? Everywhere I look it says you have to have proof of employment or they won’t approve you. Thanks for any feedback.
Hey, so both times I moved from out of state I was able to use my current (out of state check stubs) if that makes sense. So if you have a job now you still can show that income in a new state OR most apartments accept job offer letters as well..hope that helps
After seeing how much it cost to move to Dallas I'm about to back out
Aw don’t give up..you always want to do what’s best for you but prices area starting to come down in certain areas!
@@LifeWithTerraneka Yes the job market is what is scaring me. I will be down soon. I was wondering if there is a plus to work with apt locator cuz they just tell you about the apts and don't take you. I can do that myself. Thanks I hope I don't back out
@@lindad1418incorrect I’m actually working with one rn because I’m in the plans of moving to Dallas and they find apts based on what you prefer and what kind of lifestyle you live. Whether it’s a night life area or more family oriented, etc. plus they’re free and set the tours up for you so they’re definitely worth it because they know all about the areas
@@nextup_kc9364 I was down there end of April and I saw places from 1500 to 2035. 1500 places in Richardson and Carrollton looked disgusting and the place in Ft worth was nice but was 2035. I saw 10 places while there and decided to wait until I visit a couple of other cities. B4 I make up my mind. I worked with a relocator
I am living in Florida, but I am so tired of living in Florida. I am so tired of seeing the same people everyday. I just want to move to Hollywood California. I don't know if it's just a sign from God or what but I am tired of Florida. I'm ready to go to California. I have no kids anyway. But before I move there I will visit it first. I want to start my own business in Hollywood California.
Go for it!
@@LifeWithTerraneka I might as well go for it. I got two jobs. I work at a school and when school is out my second job is a school too they have me only part-time and my other job the paycheck stops and that's my primary job. I locked up $10,000 in my CD account so I can't touch that. I pay my bus fare everyday to get on the bus today I asked the driver that I didn't have money because I am only working part-time and they didn't pay me yet can I get a free ride and he said no. I walked off the bus cried and walked all the way to work in the hot sun and I cried the whole time I was walking. If I am struggling now I might as well move to Hollywood California and start my own business. I am so small. I don't even have enough money to even eat. I used to be 125 pounds and now I am 93 pounds . I am 38. The kids at my job are 10 years old and they are bigger than me. My job would not even pay during the summer when school is out. I am just going to move to California to become a filmmaker and screenwriter because my job is not helping me. I have lost weight because I can't even eat. A 38 year old should not be that small. I am going to have filmmakers teach me how to make a movie and hire a professional screenwriter to fix my grammar and punctuation on my script.
