    This video struck an emotional chord with me. I graduated from college in 2018 and now in a deadbeat job I hate with people I hate. The first year made me depressed and I would hate every morning waking up. Thankfully it has been much better working from home and recently I've began to take baby steps to make a side income from my hobby which is illustrations. I want to thank you for making this heartfelt video because there have been countless moments I felt like running away from work and everything. But this video puts it into perspective for me and reminds me there is no timeline for success and we should be grateful for what we have now. I hope we all make it and achieve what we want to achieve someday soon 🙏

    I really appreciate you Andrew, I to quit my $150,000 / year job, and it is very scary, but what I know now is I am confident that I will be much happier making fraction of that but doing what I really like doing which is my very own thing; I have down sized and I am on a mission towards my goal, watching you validates that I am enroute towards my goals given the fact that I have contributed in making my former bosses multi-millionaires, again you have given me that extra confidence and boost contrary to the people I have surrounded myself which they thought I was insane. Thanks God there are people like you in this world as you have added to my mental wellness more than anything.

Sometimes I really feel like quitting my job. But I'm learning a lot and it's also very fulfilling and rewarding. I have never cared about status or gaining a HUGE paycheck. My goals are to reach people and help change lives.

    The problem is as an employee you will always be trading your most value resource (time) for money. If you can stomach that then power to you. I’d much rather have time freedom, location freedom and making money while I sleep then be all comfy and cosy with a salary job.

    • @9elitemarketingservicesllc575
      @9elitemarketingservicesllc575 Před 2 lety +3

      True, but remember even when building a business you’ll still have to trade time for money. Like he said in the video, if you don’t have the capital to hire additional help then you’ll have to wear many hats. Which will require just as much time and energy as a 9-5 would...probably more.
      The energy and time that it takes to build a business to the point where it gives you time freedom and passive income takes a lot of energy and sacrifice.
      This is the part of the “entrepreneurship hype” that isn’t being spoken about in this “Fire Your Boss & Quit Your 9-5” trend.
      It’s all about perspective!

    I'm really grateful to work as a designer where I get to make my passion my job and have it pay the bills, but also to be able to make meaningful projects come to life from a bunch of scribbles.
    Being an employee is fun because you get to work in a team environment and bounce ideas and get feedback from one another, even if sometimes that feedback is hard to hear. When running your own business, its incredibly frustrating having no idea where to go especially if you lack a mentor.
    Plus, even as an employee there's nothing stopping me from pursuing my own interests and side hustles after work hours and thus, my itch to develop a business gets fulfilled.

I've made 100k a year since my mid 20s. But it has took everything from me. My family and friends, my physical and mental health, and all if my time because of the horrible schedule even though I don't work a minute over 40hrs a week. I feel trapped and get more depressed watching these youtubers spew bs success stories that completely contradict statistics.
