My son brought home a nearly dead (Store Discount!) Spotted Begonia 6 years ago. It came back to life beautifully, and looked much like yours for years until the last 1 almost 2 years. I have read that begonias (like the annual garden type?) can live up to 3 or 4 years if kept well. How long do Spotted Begonia Maculatas live? Can I propagate this plant if it is at the end of its lifespan? Love your Living space & video. Thanks!

I have had so wo so many peace Lilly's I have had so many from furneals....they all dies...I dint know what I am doing wrong .... Thank you!! Glad I found this out before I drowned her! My son gave me my plant a little over 2 yrs ago, and up until recently, it's been growing beautifully, even after having it for about 6 mos, and my cat chewed up quite a few of the leaves 😢. There's only one "stalk"(a new one) with 2 leaves that have turned completely yellow, and are almost dead, and 2 more small ones have begun to yellow as well. I'm 🙏🏽 it's not root rot. I actually plan on repotting it very soon. Great to know I can also use some cactus soil. Thanks again for the info ❤

U should used a bigger pot. Store pple put them in the small pot just for selling them not for u to grow them into it. Bigger pot make the aloe happier.

The last time I watered my ZZ plant was March 15th 2024. I am going to wait a little longer before I water it again. May be sometime in July. What do you think about that. It's growing beautifully. ZZ gets indirect sunlight in the morning. It's near a lamp which I turn on when the sun goes in. ZZ seems to like it.

Better use distilled water for indoor plants and tap water for outdoor bcoz indoor plants doesn't exposed to the direct sunlight so the possibility of infestation is more compared with outdoor plants.

Yes, these are plants that nurseries have rejected. Maybe only because they are infested.

Succulents usually need more than a window can provide. Also, direct light.. as long as it’s acclimated. Don’t take it home from a store where it’s been under shitty store lights and then throw it directly in the sun. But absolutely they can handle direct light in a window. Mine are in a south facing window on a shelf, also under barrina t8s because the window just isn’t enough.

Perhaps you could differentiate between city water and well water. We have “tap water” but we have a well. No chlorine or fluoride.

Thanks for posting. Mine has been in the same spot for years. Suddenly, it started drooping so I thought, being winter, it didn't have enough water. 2 weeks later, no difference. Gave it more water but none draining out the bottom as usual. Today, I just put it outside in the shade. Maybe it's just time. When you say without further ado, you are actually saying everything you said before that is worthless and trivial information.
