Apparantly the Pa-pa part is not even sung at all. The producer behind the song Tantu explained and showed in a clip that he made some sort of synthesizer using Joost voice to make the Pa-pa sound. Joost sings a lot from the song but not that.
Marina !!!!!i love her and i love her voice like an angel amazing song bravo GREECE !!! ALL THE TEAM FANTASTIC !!!!!!!
If you're interested in better understanding the lyrics, I recommend the "intimate" version - there is one rendition with an interview from the Late Late show, and another on the Eurovision channel. In short: They are cursing a lover who jilted them and wishing them I'll (interesting interpretation around Rowling, though!): They're wishing "that all the pretties in your bed escape your hands and make you sad, and everything you wish you had, you lose", I don't really understand the "you're living a lie, I see the scars in your eyes" bit. Then: "I guess you'd rather have a star than the moon" I read as "I guess you want something distant and unattainable rather than what you already have". And "I guess I always overestimate you" could be just an expression of frustration and disappointment: "I expected better ". Then the final passage is, I think, an admission of regret: "For your romance I'd beg, steal and borrow. It's draining me hollow (...) You could slow dance me out of my sorrow, but your favourite colour compared to the others is doom, Doomsday blue" - so you could save me, but you prefer to see me suffer. In short: A jilted lover stuck between wanting to curse their betrayer and at the same time wanting their attention.
You know your stuff. subscribed!
I genuinely loved your interpretation of this amazing song. Your absolute childlike enthusiasm and wonder was beautiful. I especially liked your reaction to the uilliean pipes ( lnown as the small pipes here in Scotland) Im coming to the end of my life, a great and wonderful life, and this song makes me ok about dying. Why should i complain. Ive lived a life in over 20 countries, have amazing children , and a million brilliant memories. Im sick of pain, and this song makes me ok about what lies beyond. Keep up the brilliant reviews and reactions.
I actually heard it first time live and was blown away. Then I watched the music video and it felt just so fitting. I have now watched at least 20 reaction videos and read many of the comments. Every single one loved it and if it was for the comments we could just hand the trophy to Nemo. I am just so delighted that as Swiss who lives in the UK can vote for Nemo. â€
If you want to win at eurovision, you send a popular song, catchy, that you remember and sing in the shower. Unfortunally Eurovision is not interested in music to analyze, or the meaning of words, but something immediate that sells well, commercial for consumption.
I already missed your reaction as I liked your last year's KÀÀrija very much.Yes,Joost lost both of his parents-that's why the sad ending. There's definitely at least one ballade this year-France.I think you should check it out as you may be in for a surprise.
I love her deep voice!

YOU MUST WATCH THE LIVE VERSION (FAREWELL PARTY) WHERE SHE SINGS LIVE WITH HER GROUP !! WE DONT CARE IF SHE WINS... SHE IS THE WINNER OF OUR HEARTS !!! WE ADORE MARINA SATTI !!!â€â€â€
It's my favourite this year, hope it wins! but I think it might struggle with the jury votes think it will win the televote.
After watching several other performances of this song, I guarantee you that this is even better live! He is phenomenal on stage, probably the best singer this year. Love this song, and it's my #3, but honestly it is because of Slimane. If anyone else was singing it, I'm not sure it would be this incredible.

.Greece and Marina Satti is my number 1. The more I am hearing the song, the more I like. I have never before been so stuck with a song.....Marina filakia, the best of all..
Same thought about high pitches at the start etc but I heard her live on it. Well... make a lucky guess
You look so happy when he finally delivers the message at the end of the song. Quite emotional to watch!
†Serbia in top â€
I haven't heard all the songs yet, but from the ones I have Belgium might be in my top 5 at the moment. Switzerland is still the most interesting song for me this year, and Ireland stands apart too. This is a bit different, but I enjoy the melody, especially in the beginning that you called unsettling. For me it feels just organic and wild, before it gets more tamed and restricted by the rhytm. Then again it may just be how my brain works in general, so I feel at home in the chaotic part đ€Ł
Hahaha yep! Maybe itâs how my brain works too đ
First time listen: WTF?! Second listen: this is messy. ... 47th listen: TA TA TA TA TA
â€â€â€â€
and this is a song ? but go to ...
I love your reaction! Can you react to Lithuania's performance of Eurovision 2024.Thanksâ€
Incredible multilayered song and excellent vocals. Best song by far and definitely my winner! I hope people will recognise the genius here as compared to some kitsch and parody entries that are ranked high as well by the bookmakers. Thanks for your interesting in depth review which makes me love this song even more đ€
In the First World War, Serbia lost about 30% of its population, 60% of its male population. The figure is around 1,200,000 inhabitants who lost their lives. This is perhaps the highest percentage that a country lost in that war. Ramonda is an endemic species and has 3 subspecies. One grows on the Iberian peninsula and in Serbia there is Ramonda Serbica and Natalija's ramonda, which was named after the Serbian queen. Both species are endangered and are protected by law. Natalija's ramonda is also known as the phoenix because it can to dry completely and to revive again when the conditions are favorable. In the First World War, Natalija's ramonda was taken as a symbol of Armistice Day and as a symbol of Serbian suffering in that war, as a new beginning, as a phoenix. The song follows these two stories. It tells where the purple Ramonde disappeared, as a metaphor for the suffering that Serbia suffered. During the performance, purple luminous dots appear on the LED screens that rise and rise. They represent the souls of Serbian soldiers who died defending their country and which go to heaven. At the end of the words, a purple ramonda rises from the ashes. That verse represents the aspiration for a better tomorrow, for the end of war, for the end of suffering, for peace.. Blue tomb. In one part of the song, he says, everything is quiet under the sea. When the Serbian army retreated through Albania to the Greek island of Vido, many soldiers died of disease and hunger. It is estimated that around 5,000 people died then and were thrown into the Ionian Sea for eternal rest. Since then, that place has been called the blue tomb.
Don't miss to react to the second-placed song from the Serbian national festival. Zorja_ image in the mirror. The composition was written by Zorja with her husband, and it was played by an orchestra of 15-20 members. Zorja has an incredible voice and way of interpretation. That song blew you away. czcams.com/video/_1DhoSuTIQs/video.htmlsi=fmxml9VLx1BeE6Y-
To answer your question about if itâs a jk Rowling dig. Bambie said in an interview itâs got nothing to do with her. Avada kedavra is actually an ancient Aramaic phrase that means let it be destroyed, which fits in really well with the themes of the song. đ
đđđđ·đž
The rock on which the singer is lying at the beginning of the video represents the island of Corfu in Greece, where Serbian soldiers recovered in the First World War, after retreating across Albania. We call the sea around the island of Krv the Blue Tomb, because many soldiers who died are buried there. In Serbia, the Ramonda flower is a symbol of rebirth and rising from the ashes. Also Ramonda is called phoenix flower. The people have gone through and are going through many misfortunes and sufferings, but they always hope that everything will be fine. This song is dedicated to all those who sacrificed themselves for the benefit of new generations.
â€â€â€â€ Griechenland đ
Nice radiosong. Despite some Live-appearances that were vocally/technically plagued, I still like it. It did not however, translate very well onto the ESC-audiences, from what I saw. If he'd been allowed to play it with a Live band, that would have made a big difference.
What a reaction!! That was literally surgery!!! đâ€
