    It's about Nemo's life.
From 9-13 they were part of the youth opera and musicals. Then, at 15 they became famous as a rapper - a super talent. With 18, after winning 4 Swiss Music Awards, Nemo took some time and then came back with English songs. More pop or this experimental music.
In the German speaking part of Switzerland Nemo is very famous.
Nemo normally writes and produces their songs, alone or with others. They also play multiple instruments.
Nemo's sister is a well-known photographer and does a lot of the visual art and the costumes. Her name is Ella Mettler, she's 22 or 23.

There are so many references like in Baby Lasagna's story, with involvement of whole family. It'll be really though in finals and I hope no politics will be there.
I hope that pure quality and touch will win.
As a Croat I root for Rim Tim Tagi Dim of course, but I'm really touched by diversity in Nemo's entry.
This is just briliant! It's amazing mash-up.
Let the better song and performance win!

@ You just made me change my vote. I planned to vote for Croatia and/or Greece. Or Ireland after the Semifinal I.
But I got insulted by so many BL fans for defending a person that is in their opinion "not normal" or "sick" that I changed my vote. But of course I know there are all sorts of people everywhere. There are a lot of Swiss people who hate being represented by Nemo.
I think for both of them it is already a big success and I like that Eurovision unites Europeans.

Definitely Bizet habanera at the beginning. Also the five note figure from the Queen of the Night's aria from Mozart's Magic Flute in the pre-chorus. (I'm a clergyman who - in another life - played four different male roles in that opera 🙂). Then the french horns are very John Barry/Bond style. Pano the piano guy thinks there's a bit of Don Giovanni in there too - where the Commendatore turns up at the feast.

The Habanera connection is probably because of the descending chromatic scale. I find the whole song incredibly interesting and full of surprises - how Nemo manages to keep all those styles together so convincingly in just 3 minutes is pure genius. Not eveyone likes it - some find it confusing...
The Code and La Noia are my 2 winners this year - both make full use of dynamics and stops and goes and full of surprises - while Nemo has the edge on vocal range and memorable melodic lines Angelina's strenghts are infectious rhytmics and stage presence. I can't see the others - these 2 are well above the rest and deserving winners.

the song is amazing but unfortunately is not genuine.. one part of the song is from "the magic flute-queen of the night aria".. and one part is from James bond movies soundtrack... And this rap part is familiar as well...

It's Nemo's life. Nemo was part of the young opera and the Magic flute is the first opera they sang (as Papageno as a 9 years old). At 15 Nemo was a famous rapper in Switzerland and if you listen to songs like Blockbuster or Himalaya you see that his rapping is already mixed with Pop or even Funk. And then it's not a James Bond song. Both songs have high notes. Like 1000s of other songs. You cannot like the song and it's ok. But it's not not original.
