    Henri Piispanen, the singer is a professional singer, songwriter, musician from a music institution in Finland. He is a singer in two bands, Pasa and Kontio Polaris. He is also a voice actor, has been doing voices for children's cartoons and voice dubbing films for 24 years, and he is now 30. That is also why this song is so good, keychange. There os also a classic version with the Finnish Tapiola Sinfonietta, Henris singing is absolutely wonderful, worth watching.

    There are references to Finnish folklore, Kalevala, in which the world is born out of a goldeneye duck egg. Henri also wears boots that mimic boots made out of birch bark (virsut). Henri is also dressed like the bird that laid the egg (although not really duck-like...).

    I think that after that recording, Henri's voice, that is, this singer dressed in denim feathers, has become stronger. The situation seemed to excite him. Going along was not in his thoughts as originally told, but a last-minute solution when no other singer could be found. Henri is the producer of the song. Have now become friends with Teemu Keister aka Windows95man during the competition. Teemu has already had this No Rules in its various forms for a longer career. He is a versatile artist and No Rules! and Why Not! are his mottos. The purpose is to make people happy and free them from unnecessary demands on themselves.

    To be honest the rules for public decency in Finland are not that strict with nudity. I could easily imagine them not censoring the nether regions even if the Windows95 dude really had no pants on, while still censoring the Windows logos 🤣 It wouldn't fly in an international show of course, but wouldn't shock most Finns. We're the ones who invented sauna after all, so pretty much every Finn has seen lots of totally naked strangers.

    • @durabelle
      @durabelle Před 25 dny +5

      Also you're correct, Windows 3.1 deserved way more love than 95. It was a lot more stable, whereas Windows95 just kept crashing if you even looked at it the wrong way.

    • @annalyon2729
      @annalyon2729 Před 24 dny

      I don't think finns are that free with male nudity in public or in movies. It's another thing with female nudity. Same with many other countries./ I have distant relatives living in Finland, so I know something about their customs.

    • @durabelle
      @durabelle Před 24 dny +10

      @@annalyon2729 I don't know what your distant relatives have told you, but we really are quite okay with male nudity too. Sure, in movies they show naked women more, but then again most of our famous movie directors are men, so probably just goes down to male gaze and such.
      But even if it isn't actually done in broadcast TV, there's no shock factor around nudity, even if kids might see it. It's quite common for small kids to go in public saunas with a parent of either gender, I for example used to go swimming with dad, and until I was about 7 or so I'd go with him to the men's changing rooms, showers and saunas. Have seen countless naked Finnish dudes, and nobody cares.

    • @jukka7697
      @jukka7697 Před 23 dny +5

      Yep, no real shock factor around an artist being naked. Mostly funny to see kids reaction to it. If adults are okay with it, kids learn to be okay with it too. I didn't even notice Windows95man's pants missing at first.

    What exactly is key change?

    • @TheMuserResolute
      @TheMuserResolute  Před 24 dny +8

      It’s when the tonal center (the note and scale which feels like “home”) changes and moves into a different one. In this case, Its function is to lift the piece of music up and usually excites and heightens the listener. I was so excited because they’ve gone out of fashion on modern music.
      Eurovision would have many entries which use them in the past, especially ballads. Modern mainstream music did too. Now a days they are not often used
      This is why I was unreasonably excited by it 😆
