    Thank you mate, if i can ever afford one, the main thing is trying to camp/sleep in the back, and shove big heavy ebikes in the back. The way the stupid seats fold over, i dont know if there is less or more room than my 2017 rav4... idk i wish those seats went fully flat or were removeable or something

    I personally think hydrogen fuel cell cars are awesome. Life would be very simple if we didn’t insist on making it complicated. So in other words, things would be cheap if we wanted them to be. Things would be of great quality if we wanted them to be. It’s just us being stubborn on making things hard for everyone around us, by putting limits on everything where its not necessary, and no limits where it’s necessary. I think a little more than a hundred years ago, All countries were very simple, and a hundred years later, we evolved into having very advanced vehicles and technology. I think everyone is just complaining and taking things for granted. I had a brick phone when I was growing up, when I got to USA I got an iPhone 4, which was unheard of. I never had a car, now I got one. I never had my own PC, now I got one and built it myself. I got a job that I have been working for 12 years and a steady income. Able to help my parents financially and physically. Don’t force Fuel Cell cars down the drain just yet. It’s a great alternative to cars we have today. They just need a redesign. Electrification is a stupid move, and a extremely expensive one. As I was talking to people at my job, we agreed that hybrid cars are the most awesome at this time. If they could increase the capacity of batteries in hybrid cars, I am sure we wouldn’t need pure electric cars. If you could get a 150 miles on battery electric charge in a hybrid, and the battery would continue to be charged by ICE, that would be the greatest advancement on cars. We should welcome all options of transportation to be honest and not stick with just only one solution of pure EVs, because it’s a stupid mistake.

    Nope. Not cool at all. Cringe inducing, makes me feel sad that someone's self-esteem is so low that they need to be seen this badly. All it says us, "Look at meeeee... won't somebody pleeease look at me???" I run a small ranch and I haul cattle for a living. Truck guys do not think it's "cool." Don't pretend that buying an overpriced battery box with zero use as a truck has that effect. It works the opposite way. It's hard to notice when you're surrounded in an echo chamber by other cybercucks, but that thing is a joje to 99% of the public, and the buyer looks like a fool.

      The Cybertruck is one of the best looking cars out there but the weirdest thing about the Cybertruck is that it has no back window to see what's going on out the back window it's like driving a U-Haul Box Truck 🚛 no back window but it is a computer screen in the front middle next to the steering wheel to see what's going on in the back but it's like driving a Box Truck 🚛

    According to Tesla, there are only mirrors installed because that is a government requirement. They installed them in such a way that they can be easily removed. The vehicle was designed without any mirrors at all. Why are there no buttons? It's simple: you can't change physical buttons via an online update. Nevertheless, there is a button to open the font trunk. And you don't need the card to open the vehicle. You just use the Tesla app. The card is just a backup.

    I would understand screen only (or two screens - one for instrument cluster) to control everything on 20k car, or at least don't advertise me BS, just say, we do it because it is cheaper and car is cheaper, no bs about it being cool - that time was 30 years ago. Then again, they do sell these for 100k or whatever. So clearly there is a market for that.

  • @jkinghorn
    @jkinghorn Před 15 dny

    I like the comment about why the rear view mirror doesn't have the backup camera view option, and agree initially Tesla put everything in the screen to save cost but now this is a $60k+ truck, and the Chevy Bolt even had the backup camera/rear view mirror as an option. So I think now it's just a 'Tesla thing', all the controls go into the display, as much as they can. Kinda like Subarus and the boxer engine, it's just what you get, but I'd also agree I'd rather have regular controls for the shifter, hvac, wipers, lights, door handles... That said, there are at least aftermarket options for Teslas so you could get a phone or small tablet and put that in front of the steering wheel and have it display an instrument cluster, and the S E X Y button accessories you can map dedicated functions to, so it does also have expandability, something other car makes that put a lot in their infotainment screens don't have. I also agree I like seeing something different on the road, Cybertruck definitely isn't for me, but at least it adds variety to the commute. One last thing on the Cybertruck font, I've been rewatching Forever Knight on Roku, early 90s Canadian vampire series, very cool, but the font they use in their title credits is exactly like the Cybertruck, look it up it's hilariously hard to decipher as well.

    I LOVE my CT! Only could afford it because of all the stock I bought a decade ago. Absolutely worth it! Already replaced my Dodge MegaCab for all but hauling water! Yeah it's got some small issues, but they are beyond minor and don't impact the joy of driving this thing, and talking to everyone that walks up to it. Almost universal praise. I've given more random strangers rides, than I've ever talked to in my entire life. As an extreme introvert, this has brought me out of my shell.

    Why don't all these rich money-grubbing tosspots like stinking Musk produce some lines of these for the actual road, 2 seated with portable batteries. Doesn't matter if they can't reach max speed limits, 40-50mph is plenty anyhow. They could have solved "global warming" issues decades ago if they focused on such machines, instead of pandering to the masses with the current crap being produced.

    Geez, what's that place? Renting shop? Car is dirty. Ion filter is for the ion cannon... H for cars is mainly produced by electrolysis (electric current in H2O to split the molecule and capture the H). Other method is spliting a hydrocarbon (petrol) molecule with same results. The later is much more common because it's cheaper but it's not green at all. In fact, the only green H is when it's made from hydrolysis with electricity produced with renewable E. BTW, toyota loose money on that. So the selling price is lower than the cost price.

    Fun aside about the FWD rumor on the front suspension. AMC struggled to win at Trans Am, and even had a dealer available crossmember part (to comply with Trans Am rules) that allowed Mustang front suspension to be fit onto an AMC. This worked, but travel was so severely limited it didn't work very well. They redesigned the suspension with Donohue for the 1971 model year, and what came out of it is a heavily Mustang-inspired front suspension. Well, AMC being AMC that design was then copy-pasted to everything in that size segment. Hornet, AMC, Gremlin, etc. Fast forward to 1981 and the AMC Eagle is launched... using a revised version of this suspension with a tall spindle to allow front driveshafts to pass under the relatively low frame rails, thus creating the AWD crossover passenger car that's so ubiquitous today. So in a way, the Mustangs front suspension did end up with drive axles in it.
