very good review! I am originally from the area and confirm that the review is complete and fair. maybe some views of the two other SPA would have been useful as they are great (Bagni Vecchi and Bagni Nuovi)

Terrible resort. Inconvenient location. Don’t try to do Le Trois Vallees ‘on the cheap’. Do it justice.

Grindelwald - First is completely separate from the rest. You need a bus to get there. Then you need to take a long cablecar up there. The runs at the very top are quite flat. I had to climb back up to the top😮, because my snowboard stopped dead and it was pretty much a whiteout. Snowboarders 7? I'd say 5 at max. There is absolutely no way this resort is 8.5 out of 10. The Wengen area is better rest of the areas on the ski pass are better. Kleine Scheigedegg for example. I preferred to go over to Murren, but it's a train journey away. Oh and don't waste your time with the James Bond experience. I'm being as polte as possible. At least the views on the Murren side of map are spectacular 👌🏽

I am not so convinced, the weather in late season is really unpredictable. We went late March, had one nice day in a week. The rest was wet snow, storm winds, and lots of dense fog. Slope preparation was really bad. Not sure I will go back.

Sitting at the hotel in Zermatt. Weekend was wiped out by bad weather but just had 3 tremendous days with 2.5 days of sun. I avoid the piste and ride next to it, if you are advanced, there is 8 inches of untouched powder waiting to be ridden Been to Val Thorens, Val D'isere, and St Antons and Zermatt has been my favorite, loved them all.

Don't believe the cons on this video. Been going to bormio for over 30 years everything said about no night life and not good for begginer skier or boarder. This place is amazing and Is worth 1 2 or 3 week skiing plenty of things to do. Ignore the negative things said in thie video

Thanks for the review! Looks awesome, although, Considering how high elevated this resort is, I’m surprised how little snow there is in the video footage.

Only issue I got, is that its pretty low elevation skiing, so if booking far in advance, do not always expect snow in the valley or even good snow on top. You'll have a lot of snowmaking and slushy/icy ski runs. Giggling run is rarely open. Also keep in mind that Kitzbühel is a high society resort, so expect sky high overnighting prices, Kirchberg is more affordable and as good connected to the ski runs

biggest problem is gondola, waiting time 1-2 hours in the morning

Average cost for a decent lunchtime meal is super expensive. As a couple we are spending around 80-100 euros for lunch. The ski pass is also now €396, significantly more expensive than Saalbach-Hinterglemm which we rate higher than Tignes. Everything is significantly cheaper Austria. Will not come to this resort again….

Sölden is probably the best place where I have been skiing. I was there with my parents in the early 90's. We have also been in Kaprun / Zell am See. Great places.

7 times there since 2008. There is no US resort area that comes close. Easy to get to, skiing is cheap for Americans, food and drink are very cheap, for Americans. Lodging is about average. In the many apartments around town, about 100 Euro per person per night seemed pretty common. Excellent bus service.

When there is snow and you have enough money france resorts are the best …. ( tho its much less expensive than north america ) … austria is a little less good but its cheaper and quality for price might be higher… italy depends on ski resorts but also is a little cheaper but i feel france for not much more pricey is better maintained… pyrenee ski is also overlooked and cheaper yet quite good too - i also like avoriaz and serre chevalier ( you have laGrave just next to it)
