    • @PatsCarGarage
      @PatsCarGarage Před 2 měsíci

      So if we omit the part where you utter insults without bothering to simply ask a question, here is why: There is a broad misconception that not coding your injectors will lead to an imminent catastrophe comparable to the extinction of the dinosaurs. I've set out to disprove this. Is it better to code your injectors? Absolutely, however, if for whatever reason you can't; let's say an injector failed in your home's garage and you need to replace it before even being able to code it, is it ok not to do so? The answer is yes, since I've posted this video I still haven't coded the injectors on this car, and guess what, it's still running just fine. So if you need to swap injectors, and can only have them coded afterwards, you should be comfortable in knowing that it's safe to do. You should also be happy about this outcome yourself, it means your car is maintainable without any specialized tools, which is an outcome we should all be striving towards.

      Nah man sorry, I've never worked on of those. My best advice is to crank the heater fully on with the engine warmed up, and put your hands on the heater hoses. If they're only warm, means something is blocking the coolant flow from reaching the heater core. You can try pulling the valve off and rigging up some longer hoses to reach the heater core without the valve in the way. If you then get heat, the valve is bad and stuck closed.

    Very informative, well explained video and feedback on Meyle product through actual long term personal experience. Had no idea universal joints could be rebuilt. If my memory serves me right, the balancer discs are several hundred bucks from Mercedes Stealers. I have had a C200 (S202) for over ten years and it's never let me down, starts first time and I've never changed the spark plugs lol, but I think the propshaft centre bearing rubber has gone as it knocks on the transmission tunnel occasionally under load at low speed. Still drives smooth and quiet with 168,000 miles, amazing cars. Thanks for uploading, 👍😎

    • @PatsCarGarage
      @PatsCarGarage Před 2 měsíci

      Yeah you can delete the driveshaft harmonic balancer. It's pure Mercedes over engineering. There's nothing connected to the driveshaft that can give harmonic oscillations like the combustion events acting on the crankshaft do.

    • @PatsCarGarage
      @PatsCarGarage Před 2 měsíci

      @@kingnull2697 it's probably more to do with filter brand. A good brand filter will have a higher pleat count for more surface area (and possibly tighter woven filter media to catch smaller contaminants). Given the same pleat count, the additional height of the taller filter will allow for more capacity until the filter is clogged since you get more surface area from that extra capacity.
