Mercedes Idler Arm Removal

A small video where I talk you through q couple of tricks to make removing the idler arm easier. In the previous video on the W202 I had done all the steering components... but I left the old idler arm in a questionable state. I address that in this video.

I can't understan how idler arm rotate with steering when we tigten up that side with bushing (50NM)

The rubber inside the bushing twists as the steering moves. It's also why you want to have the steering straight before tightening the bolt down. You want the rubber to be fully "relaxed" wen the wheel is straight, only twisting as it goes from side to side.
