Most underrated feature and most underrated channel

I just made a comeback to OmegaT ver. 6, because I am thoroughly disappointed with the so called "giants". I addition to OmegaT I compiled Swordfish V for myself, because you don't have to pay for it, if you compile the software yourself. :-) Another one that I use from the minor league of CATs is Cafetran. Cafetran is a Java implementation, so it should run in any machine that has Java installed. There is very little guidance available on installing the Linux edition, which is distributed as a simple tar.gz package. Note that this package should be unpacked somewhere in normal user space (i.e. anywhere in the user's Home directory -- you can even leave it in the downloads folder). This is important, because the routines for installing various add-ons (such as spelling dictionaries) assume normal user privileges, and they simply fail with no feedback if admin. privileges are needed. Also note that you will need a licence to use memories of more than 500 units (currently EUR 80 per year or a flat EUR 200 with support for 3 years, iirc). That licence is specific to the install location, so if you installed CT outside of the Home directory, then you will be stuck with that configuration and all of the accompanying privilege headaches. The solution to those headaches is to change the privileges of the install location that you chose, but these technicalities are obviously not needed if you installed in user space. As a professional translator, you may wish to customise the Cafetran user interface in various ways (such as finding a colour scheme that is easy on your eyes), but finding the right balance between this customisation and the general user settings for your Linux system can be tricky. Once everything is set up, the Linux edition seems to run more smoothly and swiftly than under MacOS or Windows. At least this is my experience.

This video backs up what I was already experiencing with GoDaddy. Having spoken to their help desk, they aren’t very helpful when it comes to helping you with SEO (unless you pay them extortionate amounts), so the SEO video you suggest, specific to GoDaddy would be reeeeeeally useful!!
