    Hi Mark, thanks for the video. I am an English teacher (non-native) who wants to start in the field of translation. Any tips for me? I don't want to spend a lot of money in a master's in translation, I would rather start with a short course or something like that. How did you start? Thanks for your answer!

      I think one of the best ways to learn translation is by translating, as ridiculous as that might sound - I did a degree in languages and starting translating from there.     I know Cat tools help with translation but I don't really know how to use it. Do you think it replace a manual translation? Thanks!

      Using a CAT tool is a great idea. You're still essentially translating manually, but any repetitions in the document will be propagated automatically, plus you can create custom glossaries for consistency. There are also some really nice quality functions for tidying up your translation. Try CAT and you'll never go back!
