As a Boston terrier breeder I find the pups that have all white faces or abstract markings sell at a higher price/first sold out of the litter! My dad and I have been breeding Boston’s terriers for about ooooo I say 17 years or so! Mainly just breeding females but last few years we started stud service as well! We have true akc registered red Boston’s terriers and black bostons. But yes the abstract coats sell first over the “standard markings” I also breed pomskys German shepherds and huskies

Farts, snores, can't stand extreme temperatures. Some human beings farts, snores, can't stand extreme temperatures especially if from down south lol. I have a Boston Terrier and I also have a Beagle Pit mix and a Golden Retriever German Shepherd mix. My dogs have my back more than a human does. You should see them when someone knocks on the door lol.

I've had 3 Boston's and am getting yet another. They're very loyal, quiet no health problems ever! Everyone loves my dogs. I haven't had them all at once but cannot go without one. They're very lovable and huggable.. they don't particularly want to be picked up, but they han spring into a car on their own and love car rides

My Boston are vary aggressive towards other dogs . And I have two one male and one female and one pug. And my female about killed my pug when for the throat. So ya I had one back some time ago and he tock a boxer on and tock a piece of his knows off. So ya they are aggressive big time. I have had 15 of them in my time and they all have aggression.

I have a 6-year-old Boston terrier. We fly nationally. He is fine flying to Puerto Rico and Georgia with no issues. He's a cool calm awesome dog, and he fits the requirements for Delta and the bag. Now we are permanently moving overseas and I want him with me in the cabin. I can see Turkish Airlines, allowing me to take a pet. On their website, he is not matching the requirements as he is bigger and heavier. I can book an extra seat for comfort and have his highness have his own seat after take-off. My question is, how do they check upon arrival at the check-in/gate that he fits the requirements and the bag? I can have him in the bag and zip it. Do international flights weigh them? Do they Measure the dimensions? If I get turned away at the gate that will create the biggest mess I need to deal with, as I will have no home, and have to deal with a dog that I need to move with me. Shipping him separately is getting ridiculously expensive. Any recommendations on Airlines that I can consider while keeping my budget under control?

We have number 3 now. Wouldn't ever have any other breed. My Maizey did have to have knee surgery at 9 months old. We've heard they are known to have this problem. Luxating patella. She goes nuts if you shake a trash bag and she and no.#2, Buckwheat, went nuts if you picked up a broom. Carrying a broom works as well as a leash!!!!!😂

I have two Boston Terriers, at first I fed them the expensive food seen on line, way too much tooting and stunk oh my how it stunk. could hardly stand them sitting on my lap it was so bad. now we cook their food in a smart pot very fast process simple ingredences. chicken, calf liver, yams, squash, carrots, apples, bananas, rice, pumpkin, pumpkin flour, oak flour, ground up sunflower seeds, ground ghia seed (sp?). blue berrys, mango. meat cooked seperate from veggies and fruits. mixed in large bin. makes about 50 servings for us. (we purchased reusable resealable bowls 2 cup size.) we need 4 per day / 2 dogs. 2 cup servings per meal. they love it and best of all no more gas. absouletly no gas.... we grind the meat up with comercial kitchen grinder bones and all. fruit and veggies all ground up and cooked seperately from meat. rice prepared in standard pot between 6- 10 cups per batch, we purchase rice in 25lb bags. 20lbs of chicken can be breast or dark. we usually get chicken in the 2-3.00 per lbs price. 2lbs of liver is optional. liver is cheap 2.00 per lb. pumpkin (canned)makes it smell fantastic and helps keeping them from re eating. this is how we got rid of their gas and its been great cooking for them.

My mom's late boyfriend (who passed away seven years ago this month) used to breed Boston Terriers. Whenever he'd mate his male with someone else's female, his stipulation was that he would get either his pick of the litter or the price of one puppy. One of his dogs was named Winston (he was known for naming his dogs after family members or people he knew). When he mated his other male, Jasper, with a lady's female Boston, he got his pick of the litter, which he gave me and my husband to raise (the dog was technically in his name, so my husband and I were foster parents to a Boston Terrier), and I named our dog Judy, after a lady who had worked at the sheltered workshop I'd attended, and had died of cancer a couple of months before we got our dog. Since my mom's boyfriend could also decide when he didn't want a female to have another litter, and could sell the dog any time he wanted, he requested us to give our dog back in November of 2008, and he decided to sell, then she went to her new home in January of 2010. Since she was born in May of 2006, she would've long since been put down by now.

Thanks , for providing this information for the mass pulbic. After 6 years of BT ownership I am ready to get him neutered just to prevent some of the issues that old male dogs develop. Still on the fence about, because behavior change is major concern. However my Boston is very playful and not aggressive. The personality change is what has stopped me for over 6 years.

Our Boston is 18 months old. Jock really chews, like EVERYTHING. Destroyed a cell phone which was lying on the couch and ruined my son’s very expensive reading glasses.. TWICE. I understand that they are not outside dogs, but due to the frustration of the chewing we feel forced to keep him outside more as he just is destructive when inside the house. We would let him be with us in the room watching a movie, and he would get up and go fetch something he’s not suppose to chew. The kids play with him daily, he’s got lots of chew toys, we just don’t know what to do anymore. We love Jock, my husband is not a big dog lover and the fact that he’s chewing everything is not making it easy. We felt we wanted to get a family dog and we like everything about him. Chewing is just causing a lot of stress for everyone. We don’t allow him to climb on our couches or beds which makes cuddling a little difficult. I cuddle with them on the carpet. Any advice will be greatly appreciated

My BT has a FOOT fetish. Like seriously. If there’s an exposed foot, he will position himself with his body touching the foot, then he will move slightly back and forth to “pet” himself with the foot. It’s bizarre.

My Boston also hates the word “no.” He’s only one year of age. He also hates his nails to be trimmed. He is the most comical dog I’ve ever had. He really loves me. He is not necessarily a dependent dog but likes to have me close by. Glad to find your channel!!

My friend and I got a male boston about a year ago. He is loyal,smart,strong,and quick. He seldom barks and loves to eat. Will.visit me 3 or 4 times a day if I am resting or reading in bed. He has taken to sleeping to the right side of my bed most bites and loves a body massage. Would recommend this breed highly.

Couldn’t be more wrong brother. I have one and first of all I live in Canada so there goes you cold temperatures theory. And my dog it’s extremely active I’m a very active person athletic and can’t keep up with my dog can run for hrs non stop. The heat it’s true they struggle a little bit but apart from that it’s a great dog and most of your points ain’t true.
