they should the joke and do a door that we can push away like in suikoden 2 and it would be bad if they change that item glitch i mean they should first clear all the game bugs where the game crash like i had i stuck in battle so nothing happened and i could nothing do and choose and had a bug in the end the text goes faster then usually and after 30 mins the scene goes ahead and between nothing happened

Yusuke was a staple in my party til the late game. After having to switch him for another tank, Yusuke became my backup tank in situations where I had to make multiple teams.

Momo can't even move or attack if Leene is in the group. Leene is MVP.

How can Momo be strongest if Leene always moves first and one shots everything but bosses :)

I believe they just patched this on console today. I tried, and the item showed as equipped to the first character still.

For anyone playing this game on PS5 after the item duplication glitch patch and your dumb machine keeps auto updating just uninstall the game then reinstall and KEEP canceling and deleting the update, then you can still use item duplication

My issue so far is that the combos don't really do more dmg then each person just taking their own turn. The complete hero combo does less than the 2 teams using their combo... and less than just having all 6 take their own turn.

The first one has been miles better so far.

my fave improvements is the crafting ingredients diversity, and the sprint boons blow dash memes out of the water (except maybe Ares's)

Hi man ! I've discovered your channel last year with your tips on Octopath 2. Great stuff ! I learned so much fun builds thanks to you. Glad you're also dipping your toes in the Hades verse. Hades 2 looks already so full and polished, it's kinda hard to imagine they're still working on it for at least a year and will be adding more levels and characters to it. Even the early access already feels like as much content as the first game. Looking forward to see what you're gonna cook up with Hades 2.

The game is mid+ and I say that because it feels like untapped potential or dumb stuff that brings it down. Such as the combat. Hero Combos are pointless like you said but the animations are great. The rune system was wastes potential. The start of the game had me interested for boss fights then it was “oh, it’s just the first boss fight that was pushing me. How sad.” Story could have been so much better if they put more care into the antagonists. They were pretty boring and generic. Like you said the game doesn’t go hard enough. There is some corruption and shitty personalities for the antagonists but it felt like the game was afraid of making them too bad. Big thing for me is some of the minigames were excessive. Cooking battle and beyblade minigame were ridiculously long and way too tedious.

Sure it used to be a murderous psychopath but I love my cute little sujimon human butcher.

Even as specialists late in the game, Rosalind's team can ruin enemies.

If I’m not mistaken, rogue like is when you don’t get any permanent upgrades, so every loop you start as just as strong as the start of the game, rogue lite is when your character get permanent power up as game progresses, so like the mirror in Hades. I’m not a fan of rogue likes, specially when they are hard, so this is a skip for me, but looking forward to cool videos.

Lol my endgame team. Chandra lugo momo aisha nowa. Nowa is questionable. I like others but he is the main character. Game is easy so this team one shots all mobs. And takes all non underground gauntlet bosses out in 5-6 turns

I was looking for a video on this. I was in the underground and i added a character eho was 29 and my party was 65-70. One battle went from 29 to 74?!! I was like whatttt.?? Wonder if this will get patched. More broken things in this game

Completely agree with everything. Lots of potential to be a historic game.. it's still a good game but it feels half finished most of the time.

It was extremely enjoyable and I’m quite happy with my experience. That being said, by the end, I had definitely dropped my personal rating from 9/10 to about 7.5 … maybe 8. It just lacked a little bit of substance. Combat was enjoyable but way too simplified. Some characters are so cool but simply underperform. Thankfully, most of my favorite characters were useful. Magic was severely handicapped though and that was a bummer. There were too many extras that just weren’t fun and required way too much time to get the reward to wanted from them. Card game was fun though. I really loved the artwork and the world but really needed some oomph that was sorely lacking in the systems. Happy I bought it. Happy I played it.

Fair review, for me the game did managed to get the feels of early Suikoden games nicely, hopefully the first and many more of the series to come. In regard to what you mentioned about combat, I'm not sure if you have played it but for me the Trails series, specifically Cold steel 1 - 4 and Trails into reverie has a very interesting combat system where you can tweak the builds for the characters, it was a pretty fun experience for me. Plus, the next game in the series, "Trails Through Daybreak" is releasing in July! Great story, great combat.

Im still in the early stages of the game and I came looking for a video that can slow down all the available tactics that have been thrown at me so far. I think this video helped me understand a bit more about the tactics. and Im glad im not the only one who doesnt care about using Lex lol

All of this is basically why I can't convince my friend who also loved Suikoden 2 to play Eiyuden. Every time I try, I can't fully justify why the need to play this. :/ i did enjoy the game myself too but yeah it's not on the 'great' ranking of games

Don't know if you looked into it or car but the character that is locked behind cards you only have to play cards twice once to unlock the store and once to get the one character who challenges you after you own enough cards

I'm honestly disappointed, but that may be cuz I had high expectations. It's a solid 6, wouldn't dare giving it a better score. I would give it a lower score, but we're honestly not getting any decent turn based jrpg's, quite sad. -Gameplay: Pretty decent, hero combo's had little to no use with a few exceptions and the roster felt unbalanced, but everything else felt good. -Story: Cookie-cutter generic story. It's wasn't bad, but neither good. You can beat the game skipping every dialogue and you wouldn't miss much. -Performance: Absolutely atrocious, there's really no excuse for it being so bad. And the bugs... oh God. I really wish the best to the team and I hope we may ever get a sequel, but next time I hope they come up with somethig better on the story department and they don't release a game with a hugh mungus amounts of bugs and atrocious performance issues.

It was a good first Suikoden successor game from them. I am looking forward to a sequel
