Xaar 1003 heads from ceramic printers are not easy to recover. But a fully automatic PHD15 can do it. You can use the flushing solution that comes with your ink. The recovery programs uses 3 cycles: Mesh, Vacuum at 100% ultrasound and a Forward with 30% ultrasound. The pressure never exceeds 5psi and the fluid temperature should be 35-40°C.

Using a Print Head Doctor 14XXL to clean an HP PageWide print head with water-based inks. PHD14XXL has an extra extra large standalone tank as well as a built-in "large" tank for smaller print heads. Besides, it has a dedicated drain pump with a separate output for the waste bottle. Thus, you don't have to switch any tubes if you want to empty the tank.
