PHD90 Hot Melt Machine Operation - Spectra Galaxy Print Head

Operation instructions for Print Head Doctor 90 Hot Melt / Wax, recovering Spectra Galaxy print heads.
WARNING: This machine works with flammable fluids at 100°C!
- Keep the ignition sources away.
- Do not inhale vapour! Wear a gas mask.
- Work in well-ventilated area.
- Protect your eyes with chemical goggles or the gas mask.
- Protect your hands with thick rubber gloves. Remember that the hot parts of the machine reach 100°C!
The PHD90 machine needs 3 power sources:
1. The AC-DC 12V adapter to power the main tower.
2. AC cable for the ultrasonic tank.
3. AC cable for the Hot Tank.
The tower will control the hot tank, but you will need to turn the AC power on/off with the switch.
The cleaning solution for the wax / hot melt ink is quite aggressive, it will strip the paint off the metal parts of the machine. To protect them, spray on the Teflon (PTFE) dry lube on the black surfaces. Recommended product: WD40 Dry Lube with PTFE.
