Pump Module Replacement On Print Head Doctor

This video shows how to replace the pumps on Print Head Doctor models 5,6,7 and 8. Please note that all these models have different configuration of pumps, but the video shows the main principles:
1. Remove the thumb screws and detach the plate.
2. Unscrew the Luer nuts and pull out the fittings.
3. Disconnect the electric connector.
4. Install new pump plate.
5. Re-connect the electric connector.
6. Re-connect the Luer fittings following the color coding. SEE NOTE BELOW.
7. Fix the plate with thumb screws.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Connecting a Luer fitting should be according to this sequence:
Step 1. Slightly tighten the Luer nut.
Step 2. Push the fitting in without touching the nut.
Step 3. Tighten the Luer nut with a moderate force.
Failure to do this will result in damaging Luer fittings! It's very easy to break threads in them by trying to tighten the nuts. On the other hand, the connection should be firm enough to withstand the pressure, therefore Step 2 is very important.
