All 6 points very valid and totally agree. Here in USA we drive like there’s no tomorrow. The lifelessness of the cities is why so many Americans deal with depression. No real sense of community here.

These are huge cities not average cities. We have just over 40,000 and I can walk to downtown in 10 minutes.

We have more room, so we're more spread out. <shrugs> I hate the suburbs, Put me in the center, or at least the outskirts of the center of the city. I saw no hate, and also I got bored a little under 1/2 way through the video, but heard nothing TO hate. Reality is just that... reality... if you got haters they were likely Republicans... they hate anything 'other' and, to them, you have a funny accent ;) They're just weird that way. Don't take it personally, b/c by in large, their opinions aren't worth much, as they tend to be deluded.

The FX30 does not have AIAF. The 6700 does. AIAF works even with full pixel super resolution zoom and can recognize subjects. This is not possible with the FX30. The 6700 also has a viewfinder. For these reasons, I chose the 6700. The cooling problem was solved by using the Fotopro CR-02. Due to the fan noise, I had to record the audio separately. Tested at an environmental temperature of 26°C. With the CR-02 attached, you can shoot 4k60p unlimitedly. You can shoot 4k120p for more than 40 minutes.

Boston accents and a lot of southern accents can be difficult for even America’s to understand. I have a hard time with those deep southern accents. The Boston accent is one I don’t find appealing at all. It sounds too rough and angry.

There were places in WW2 and WW1 where entire battlefields were just this exact mud.. except it was made with blood, not water. Filled with dead people stuck standing or laying in the mud. People stuck out in no mans land slowly dying from exposure and thirst, all his friends can hear him cry out for help, but the constant explosions and machine gun fire wont let you go save him... General Mud is no joke.

Thanks for the tips! My case was somewhat different in that I wasn't shucking the drive to use elsewhere - I actually have one of these WD externals that I have owned for 6+ years where the internal HD had gone bad. The 4 "studs" are actually the mounting screws for the drive and can be backed-off using a Torx T-8 (if you have one), which makes drive removal somewhat easier in case the plastic frame of your unit is not as flexible as in the video (mine wasn't). Since the actual internal HD is standard SATA 6GB, my plan is to replace the failed unit with a refurbished 8TB bare drive from Amazon and reuse the USB enclosure.

Sony is an ok still camera but a terrible video camera. It works for about 20 to 30 minutes in real life shooting scenarios. I think you pay too much for the return on investment. I come from an Arri film background and I am used to focusing a lens quickly and setting up a camera properly. I do like Sony cameras but cannot use them for video professionally. Tried using one on a professional industrial shoot during the winter in a warehouse shoot and finally just threw it in the bag in frustration and embarrassment in front of the client. Went back to the Black Magic Ursa. Focusing and proper exposure is part of the fun of film making. If you know what you're doing all the hand holding the Sony cameras do will never make you good at the craft. Sony cameras are great for You tubers and such but not good for mid to high end shooting scenarios. I can shoot just as fast, no bullshit menus, hit the focus with my eyes, no bullshit overheating. Unless you're shooting a feature and the production requires 16 bit color, 32 bit audio you can't do better than Black Magic for a bang for the buck. Higher end is all Alexa and still some film. Advice -- buy the best glass you can afford and capture the best audio and you will stand out in the long run. Been in business for over 40 years. I’ve been making travel videos on CZcams for over 15 years. I found out that low effort vlogs get way more views than cinematic videos with hours of editing. I gave up trying to get views, I just prefer to make cinematic montages as that is the sort of video I want to watch before I visit a new place. 80% of travel vloggers are super annoying even though they get millions of views.

just throw in your old HDD and return that SOB to best buy!!! i got 4 12tb hard drives free!!! also the external SSD's are nice because being NVME you dont even have to swap in an old drive before you return.. because the fact its missing isnt even detectable

Super disappointed I didn't see your review until now. I had watched the same three reviews you showcased in this video at the beginning and was sold on this camera. I bought this camera a few weeks ago and have not been able to successfully use it for a full recording of any of my content yet. I even dropped the settings down to 1080 and had it overheat, and shutdown after 45-50 minutes. I was able to edit out the areas during my podcast recording where this had shut down, but needless to say very disappointed. Had I seen your review, I would have kept looking for another camera option. I've also seen other reviews out there that are claiming the latest firmware update fixed all the over heating issues, I can assure you that is also not the case. Thanks for getting this video out there. You gained a like and a subscriber! Cheers.

YES, YES, YES! Agree so much. This is what I posted on my Facebook page and it sums up my thoughts: An observation about the US: Tipping culture is out of control. This may sound controversial because I have no idea what any of you think about tipping culture. In the UK, tipping is optional and generally people tip when they've had good service. 10% is often the amount. If you take a taxi and it's £11.20, you might say "Make it £12". If you're at a restaurant, you may do something similar. Service charge is now sometimes added and you can request it to be removed. If you have a booking for a large number of people, there will normally be a service charge. All these things make more sense to me. The big difference is the workers are paid a minimum wage. Of course minimum wage is still challenging to live on with the cost of everything, but it's at least brought people up to a line. In some countries, tipping is an insult and can make people think you have mafia connections. I don't know the finer details about the US (and maybe Canada is the same, as tipping was very widespread in Montreal) except that workers aren't being paid these minimum wages by their employers and therefore the tips are a supplement to their income that is needed for them to be able to actually have a wage they can live on. Effectively, customers are passed the responsibility of doing what employers should be. I've just been on a cruise and a gratuity charge of $193 (about £150) was added to my account (and the transaction therefore pending from my bank account) completely without me realising. If you want to have that removed so you can either not give gratuity, or pay gratuity in cash (or even increase or decrease the amount), you need to queue at the guest services desk. The breakdown of this charge was for the staff in the dining room, the staff cleaning the rooms, and then an "other services" charge (without specifying what this was and who it went to). Every drink you bought had an 18% gratuity charge added and if there was tax, that had to be added on as well. A menu price means nothing and you have to work out for yourself how much everything is going to cost you. I felt very financially out of control because I felt like I couldn't predict when an unexpected charge was going to suddenly crop up. When you've already paid a large sum of money for a holiday and allocated your spending money, it felt quite shocking for all these hidden costs to start eating all that up. Most people on this cruise were from the US and many seemed to be on the side of tipping, saying it's only fair and the employees work super hard and are away from their families, and they should get even more than they do (all things that cannot be disputed). That said, there were big queues at guest services to get the charge removed and you could get envelopes to put in a cash tip for individuals you wanted to recognise (I did this and many others did, too). I witnessed people tipping insanely high amounts for no reason. Maybe just because they have the money to throw around? If this is the case, do they then inflate the amount workers expect when it comes to tips and would they then be disappointed or angry if they don't get these amounts from everyone? This then becomes more a competition as to who can afford to tip the most, which is then veiled as being some philanthropic activity for "all those poor workers!". Like when someone gives someone a fiver on the street and can't help but tell everyone about it on social media. I unfortunately also witnessed people tipping staff to turn a blind eye to bad or illegal behaviour, which raises further moral questions for me. Tipping then crosses into bribery and corruption territory. I don't think workers should be put in a situation where low wages could force them (or make them willingly engage in) criminal or immoral activity. Does it then also raise the bar of service to a level where those who can afford to tip will receive better service, regardless of whether they're kind or deserving of that? Should financial incentives be used as a way for workers to have to suffer however others choose to behave?

Just shucked an 8GB WD My Book, id had a WD80EDBZ (ordered 04.10.2023). It runs noticably louder than the 5400rpm hdd I had before. Also, I had to use the guitar pick on the clips on the opposite side as well to get it to slide out. The rubber dampeners have little "feet", be careful when inserting a new hard drive as these feet tend to easily shear off.

Nice! I was there last year, starting from the Czech side. I believe, it's a bit more challenging route with a bunch of stairs made out of rocks. As an ex-fat guy, I'm kinda new to hiking, and underestimated the task a bit. Those steps made me struggle like a dog. I still completed the route, but I was angry with myself. After a bunch of stamina-building, I went back this year and completed it again without any issues. It's not the hardest hike, but I'm still proud of myself.
