I Climbed Czech Republic's Highest Mountain! (Sněžka / Schneekoppe)

Little Vlog climbing Sněžka, Czech Republic's highest mountain with a friend.
The area is actually very beautiful and the mountain is right on the boarder between Poland and Czech Republic. We climbed it from Karpacz, Poland.
Sněžka is the most prominent point of the Silesian Ridge in the Giant Mountains. At 1,603 metres (5,260 ft), its summit is the highest point in the Czech Republic, in Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in the Giant Mountains and in the entire Sudetes.

Nice! I was there last year, starting from the Czech side. I believe, it's a bit more challenging route with a bunch of stairs made out of rocks. As an ex-fat guy, I'm kinda new to hiking, and underestimated the task a bit. Those steps made me struggle like a dog. I still completed the route, but I was angry with myself. After a bunch of stamina-building, I went back this year and completed it again without any issues. It's not the hardest hike, but I'm still proud of myself.

Sněžka is currently under huge pressure of visitors who dont respect it at all - there is very rare biotop on top of it, and people walk over it and translocate stones for fun - which is forbidden, they completely ignore warnings and stuff - and i think there is also unlimited easy acces from poland side
