Costs twice as much.
I just bought a TimeMaster, 10 ft-lb Briggs engine. Fantastic mower! Super easy to start, tons of power/torque. Hydraulic drive works super smooth as does the rear wheel drive. 30" deck adjusts height VERY easily. Grass chute, mulch or bag. Got for $1100 at Loews, it was a "warranty return" from orig buyer, but a great deal for me.
Amazing how the old tree self destructs and simply replaces multiple years of growth in 2 weeks! You guys must be wizards! If only we can have seen the transition. It would have been most interesting, I'm sure.
lets see an update on this tree
So is that season price pre pay? Or do you do flat rate monthly?
Two year old mower is now out of date, why wast time talking about history. Have toro not made anything better in two years.
But you pay extra if you don’t file quarterly.. so you end up giving the IRS more in the end because of penalties
Wow what a difference 👍
For you Ferris guys. I have a Ferris Z1 48”. Very hilly yard that the Ferris does but I’d love to have just a little more traction. Would anyone think dually wheels could be added (keep in mind this unit is only used 1 hour a week at most). Kawasaki engine. ….Or should I get more aggressive tires? I think 23x 10.50-12(off top of my head). Any recommendations for tires?
Scag SPC 30 is far Superior
I can't figure out how to open the side discharge chute.
I like the lives of just you talking. I get a ton of information and entertainment:)
Thanks man! I appreciate that.
It's good to see that you have an update on that virtual phone operator. Those can be a interesting to get set up. Happy that Rachel likes the new hire, and that things are going great this year. Mind if I stop by some time?
Of course you can stop by anytime man. Just wanna call me first to make sure I’m there.
I personally think the Ferris all day makes the best stander period. That’s just me, I’ve run em all basically
It’s a great mower!
Where have you been lol?
Is it good for residential?
I would say yes.
Must be Florida, strange dude . Not sure what to say about color scheme
Are those American gallons or Canadian gallons?
Any idea how this kower compares to the 28” craftsman m430?
Id walk backwards.
Like it. I would like to see it completely enclosed (no mesh) with roof. I say that because it would nice to store your equipment in a dry place when it is raining and protect your equipment especially when your storage area (where the equipment sits overnight) is out in the open and not within a building.
I use a Turfmaster HDX 200cc! I am a residential owner! Before, I used a Greenworks zero turn 60v riding mower. Getting no exercise, added 30 lbs. of weight.😊
I bet after using that, you won't be able to backfill, i mean fill your back. 😂just playin. But seriously my back is hurting just watching this. Be safe👍
Who gave the state authority to say pay me for this pdf and we will give you another useless piece of paper.
And who exactly is gonna is gonna check if I have a license ever?
thanks for the help with the measurements last year freddy. I am scheduled to go pick up my new Z1 36 this coming weekend. I hope it will help me get thru the lawns because im 54 now and man its getting tough to get out there in the west texas heat and do some of these yards with walk behinds. Yeah i know.....ole school. Im ready to (hopefully) speed things up too! What spare parts would you recommend for the Ferris? Blades, belts, spare air filter, and ???
I honestly haven’t had any issues with my Ferris. I would get extra belts I never replaced mine yet, but having so many grandstands over the years that is good to have on hand. The air filter would be good too.
@@LawnThumbs thanks a bunch for your assistance. Excited to get it over the weekend and put it to work.
You needed a mic and an outside noise reducer Impossible to hear you at times
I don’t think it’s the same tree !
You could expand your Northern area using storage facilities, low cost and no long term leases, etc.
That is definitely an option too. I have thought about it but I’m just wired to look for a shop but yes storage unit would be good.
Appreciate the session my friend I listen to all of it and appreciate everything
Man, this is bad
So which nozzle is good for soil applications and foilar applications?
So it has rear wheel self propel?
Umm so where was the comparison? I was expecting pro cons using a time master vs a hex for commercial useage as the tittle implies
how is this holding up? i am looking at a 36"
It’s a great mower
i would believe it more if I could see a time lapse video.
How far does the ramp rack extend out the rear? From the taillight back? 3’ - 4’? Doesn’t look terrible
damn missed the live once again. i was flipping through your old videos. i'm curious though. what did you ever do with that 40" grandstand you bought off your buddy years ago? is it still around the fleet or did you sell it?
I sold it. Right now all my Grandstands are 2-3 years old. Thanks for checking in!
Run time would be a better indicator of fuel usage than sq ft because the amount of turf varies greatly from one yard to another
I like watching your honest opinion on thinks am interested in the landscaping business. I would like to have one Toro 30" TimeMaster. I'm just starting out this year 2024 for lawn mowing. Hopefully one day I'll own one. I started leaf blowing and snow removal services last year 2023. Thanks.
Did not age well. If the machine costs 45 bucks to rent... The very minimum should be 100+ per service. I understand this video is old, but charging the cost of the rental is not a great strategy because it does not factor in labor. Charging the same rates as mowing is a poor strategy as aerators are 4K plus brand new, whereas a homeowner can still buy a mower for a couple hundred bucks. Anyone dropping tines for any less than 100 bucks these days is doing the industry a disservice.
Yep. I won't start mine up for less than $125
Sorry for your loss!
my condolences
That gun is primarily used for tree and shrub. You'd get much better results using a lesco gun
Sorry to hear about your mother in law passing away Freddy. I just ordered Tommy’s book Home Service Millionaire. I’ve listened to his podcast for some time but I’m going to make it a point to read both of his books.
Which one has better belt life
My gut is saying the Ferris, just because I don’t remember having to change that one yet? But I don’t usually fix those mowers my shop guy does so I could be wrong.
Just found your channel. Two questions if you don't mind: It's now 2024 - are you guys having difficulty finding staff and what do you suggest if a customer isn't comfortable letting you keep their CC# on file? Appreciate it.
Thanks for watching! We are firm on cards on file. There are too many customers out there to worry about that. We are a strong company because we don’t have money owed to us very often. And as far as workers go we do work really hard to keep our rockstars paid through the winter so the reputation grows as a company that pays year round.
Appreciate the quick reply. I feel the same and want to keep my guys happy even when we slow down. In South Carolina we don't have a long slow season.
Exactly the same as a timemaster
I said 8 year in college what i mean to say was 8 grade in school... Thanks Freddy for having me here...
Yeah I understood it the way you meant it. I think it made sense. haha
My goodness fella, you are slow as molasses. You could have said and demonstrated all that in 45 seconds.
Sorry I’ve been told that on thins video quite a bit
