Great video! I still watch it even though south Florida don’t snow 😂… can you drop a link to the video where you talk about how you split the profits with your employees… some how I can’t find it
I see people talking about no profit with this. I heard you say it’s strictly to keep the guys busy with a paycheck coming in. Your guys are lucky to have you man.
We tell them early on that if it snows 10 or more times they make out really well if it’s less than that we still only make enough to pay our guys. But seriously our guys are so on top of it because they’re getting paid for a whole week and only work for one day. So those customers usually come back year after year they really love the service
It’s a high price but that’s what it cost for me to pay my guys. I have over 1,600 customers and only 20 so far paid. That’s almost enough needed for my shovel guys.
Great video, I did this last year and got like 2 ppl sign up for the winter and about a handful once we actually got ice here in Oklahoma

Yeah it’s funny how people like to beat me up about pricing sometimes and I can probably buy all their equipment with 2 days worth of revenue 😂
Does this include salting also? Or is that add on $
Yes salt included with my model
Thanks for the advice!
Is there any profit in this business model, or is it largely to keep guys from disappearing over the winter?
To keep them from disappearing over the winter
@@LawnThumbs right lol gotta keep an eye on them I bet. I’m the only one that can disappear from my crew …… and some days I think about it lol
@@cleancutslawncare 😂 🤣
How many avg pushes / driveway services per winter, on average?
1 a week sometimes 2, the agreement is for 1 a day only, not after every storm.
What do you tell clients if it doesn’t snow that many times?

Man, who can survive with 1,000 per month in 2022? Do you hire guys that live at home?
Haha $1,000 a week that’s why I need $13k per worker
Might as well shoot for some profit too
Thats what the plowing is for! Sidewalks is just to keep my guys making money.
@@LawnThumbs I make good money off sidewalks. Less overhead too.
@@Squarebodyshelley Yeah if it was all for me I’d be making a lot too but it’s for other people to make money
@@LawnThumbs exactly my point lol
@scatterdad how much do you charge for sm,md,lg driveway
I don't think these prices per job will work. Most clients want to pay for service on demand.

This is for snow plowing ?
No, residentials. Driveways and walkways.
With plow or shoveling ?
@@Zwrld781 shoveling
When you say large , how many ft?
