I'm so sorry but the people that are complaining about the juries are literally being double standard because if that certain country ended up being the televote winner (because she almost was, for only 14 points) you wouldn't have said the same with the results.

How is it that 5 people each who nobody in the respective countries even agreed upon, get to decide 50% of the votes, and the like 150 million televotes also count for the exact same 50%. The problem is making the semi-finals televote only, the reason Switzerland got crowded around by the juries is that jury-friendly songs are less likely to qualify. If you don't want one country running away with the juries in the final, give them a say in the semis. If we change the 50/50 system we'll end up with 30 Cha Cha Chas every year which might sound fun but really really wouldn't be. Giving a handful of people 50% of the vote may seem unfair but it's the best option there is

The Estonian song is very good, amazing that the people like it so much more than the Jury did. 12 places is a huge difference. The jury liked the Portuguese song far better than the people did. People will look back and realized that the Norwegian Entry is underrated. The best quality worse scoring song that should have been higher up on the list.

All this shows is that the system is pretty fair, because clearly some of the time the public favorite aligns with the winner, and sometimes it doesn't, and there is no overwhelming trend towards either, it seems mostly even. Obviously the people's opinions are important, but the juries also provide valuable insight into what makes a good song worthy of winning, so I feel the 50% to 50% ratio works well, since clearly public winners still win plenty of the time, and it's not like the jury winners had 0 public approval, just slightly less that the public favorite of that year.

I hope there will some changes. Televoting is a huge amount of money in the game. If the audience realizes that their vote, year after year, doesn't matter, they will become discouraged and they will stop participating in it. And the Eurovision must be profitable, on various aspects. We need to limit the possibility of a situation in which the public's voice cannot change anything.
