Joost could've been a great top 3 contender but the EBU was too afraid he would do something weird so they found a way to trick hi out of the competition. The dutch delegation has made many propositions to deal with the situation but the EBU decided to nuke the competition.

The actual contest winner, Switzerland, only did so because of overwhelming support from the five people in each of the national juries. The millions of people in the general public seemed to strongly prefer Croatia, Ukraine and Israel.

Hum, last year it was an Electronic song in britain language that was proposed for France. Not a ballad at all ^^ and the from Barbara Pravi was really like piaf song. Also not fair they allowed televoting before all songs heard... obviously only care about the money from voting, but jury is the one who has real power.
Either jury vote going down to 25% or two 'winners' - jury one and public one (quess which one's concert would be more popular 😂)

Fr, like Gåte, Georgia and Ausria wtf what do they so low, Slovenia can't get higher than 20th place because it's Slovenia and Spain hasn't the best vocals but the song is really catchy. This has to be by far the strongest bottom 5 ever.
