Better to use an oven same theory. We use to do it with our snowboard boot liners in the 90's. Same process i mean to be honest can just get custom soles ready and premade it doesnt cost much can do it at walmart.

I got me a pair of the Emerica wino slip on the Toy Machine collab one. Only skated in them a few times but, they were good. Got them for $30 and then got another pair of Emerica's which I skate more in for $35. Can't be 2 pairs of good skate shoes for $65 before tax & shipping

What I’m seeing in his “flick” from the clips, he he moving his foot up, but as he brings his front foot out of the way, he uses his toes to flick it. For him to use his toes would mean the majority of his foot is away from the board, and as the board starts slipping, he brings his foot up above the board so he can stay on top of it and wait for the full rotation to catch it. Personally, I don’t think Jeff learned to inward heelflip in the way most would extend their front foot out, but adapted to putting in the least amount of effort possible to get the same result, and I say that respectfully because he was always into doing crazy flip variations both on rails and down gaps, so for him to learn to do as little foot work as possible to still do the trick, means more focus on watching the board do the trick and either catch it, or bail it, because some of those double/triple variations can be really scary to bail, as there’s not many ways to properly bail them without getting hurt. I do think he is inward heeling, just not how anyone has seen before, because he learned to adapt to give him the advantage while being comfortable, especially don’t big gaps and stairs.

Currently on like my 3rd pair of these and love them. They feel like a slip-on version of the Dixon’s.

I’ve skated it and I’ve loved it. I thought they were very comfortable and while the top is very thin the bottom is quite good as shock absorption.

I have that very same slip on its great but i felt like it was very slippery not grippy at all. I use them as kicks

given his back foot position square in the center of the tail there is absolutely no way you could call it a pressure, no? There's no where for him to apply... pressure. I think people give him too much shit man, he's a skater like any one of us and he's unique, albeit pretentious and defensive but understandably when every core skater shuns your mental tricks like nollie 360 hard because it doesn't look super stylish.

I'm gonna give you the exact reason it's a pressure flip and not an inward heel. For it to be considered an inward heel, his flick foot must pass through the board and end up on the side the board was flipped. If you flick correctly, you will kinda be crossed legged for a split second before you put your foot back under you. These are completely pressure flips. Not trying to hate, I'm just trying to clear this debate up.

Dude flicks different. I have seen people do them so many different ways, and this is like the toe method.

Its an inward heel. his style is just absolutely ugly af. But its like the hardflips from back in the day where the front foot just did nothing but have the pressure on the board enough to make it flip correctly.

Every time I would hear his skating, all his tricks would sound like a pressure scoop, but that’s just my observation. Not hating on him or anything. It’s just what I see and hear

I met Jeff I’ve seen them he does a toe pressure inward heel if you wanna break it down it’s still a inward heal though at the same time some are pressure barley but it’s the momentum of his foot he has a totally different style in a good way in my opinion it’s like half and half creamer but most the time it’s a inward heel some yall just get so upset over a flip trick I bet your ass ain’t doing it and can’t respect what people got let it go lmao this been a debate since fucking president bush

As an old skater who was a 17 year old skater when pressure flips hit the scene in, if my crap memory serves me, around middle to late 91. They had been seen before, but easily missed, such as in H Street hokus pokus I think, from 89, 90. Someone does a rad one on a quarter pipe. Not a normal 180 pressure, but 360. It was good but I think went under radar. It was a new deal vid, maybe 1281, where skaters like Justin Girard and Chris Fissell, and Ron knigge were really pulling out the pressures and variations. This was mid to late 91 and continued into 92, but after probably 6 months, due to the progression and evolution in skateboarding, they became unfashionable, and seen as last years tricks, along with impossibles and late shove it's and late flips eventually. Sorry if the history lesson bored anyone but point is, as someone who was a more technical skater, Iearnt a few variations of pressure flips and a pressure flip is technically what Jeff is doing. To be fair, it's a very good pressure flip, and that might be what's confusing for some. He gets quite a bit of height which isn't the norm for pressure. I think it's one reason they were dropped in 92. It was seen as part of the low and slow period, and by 93 we were wanting more pop on tricks, so bye bye pressure flips. His back foot is pressure flipping and front is not heel flipping. Simple as that.

People are so slow, down smaller sets he literally does them normally. It has nothing to do with his specific style.. It’s just down big stairs and when he really has to land it he sneaks in a pressure 😂😂😂

Man I really dislike the way this guy skates. It's probably the hardest style to watch and appreciate it's like he just flings his board around and luckily ends up landing on it somehow. I try to be accepting to everyone that skates because I love skateboarding but this guy just makes me cringe and sometimes I can't sleep at night knowing there's a guy out there getting all this attention and views with such a horrific style.

right before you said "there's no flick" i was thinking "there's no flick". so i think it comes down to the flick. also, there's just something about his back foot to me that always looks like he's generating pressure instead of pop, like i'm wondering if when he was developing his technique he learned to think of it as pushing the foot down instead of snapping at the ankle. because you can apply downward force to the tail by snapping or pushing. he might just have too much leg activation, something usually beginners suffer from: pushing down on the tail with their entire back leg instead of jumping off & away and then snapping like you're supposed to. we'd have to see some flatground ollies from jeff, some ollies up & over stuff.

These are 100% NOT pressure flips. The ball of your back foot needs to be right on the toe-side edge. These are really weak, mobbed inward heels, guided very early in the flip by the front heel.
