I am a skateboarder who has been skating for over 20 years. I am a parent, a Nurse and a husband now and I still love skateboarding. I made this channel to inspired dads to skate again and I can still enjoy talking about parts of skateboarding even when i cant skate due to new priorities in my life. I Still love to skate. I feel Nyjah and the Boss Andrew Reynolds are my favorite skaters of all time but I love so many others! Mark Suciu, Shane Oneil, Antwain Dixon, TK, and the amazing Anthony Perkins LOL. Skated for 10 years before I got into drinking/partying instead; gained 90lbs between 20 and 22, and I still have the weight. Just turned 30, 3rd Little One on the way, and I'm going to get back into it. I miss the shit out of skateboarding, and I need to lose weight.

Your story is very similar to mine besides quitting. I. 35 y/o, 6'2" height and about 250lbs. It's hard with the weight gain but very worth it. Hope you get out there and shred brother

Just started back up after 35 years. Age 50, 5'11, 235. Loving ever minute of it, body does not agree. Yet.

Love the channel. I just turned 40. Skated for about 15 years. My 8 year old son has really fell in love with skating and it has pushed me to get back out there with him. Videos like this certainly help!

5050 front board fakie is dope. Wish I was skating flat bars like that. Mostly flatground for me these days. As long as I keep tre on lock I’m hangin in there.

Yea man I know the feeling of skating alone. After awhile I started to get used to it. But if I want to get better than skating with people is the way to go. I appreciate the invite. Most definitely I would love to. Add my on ig cause it's easier to communicate that way

Hey man - I'm trying to get back into skateboarding at 36, can I ask if it's not rude, how old you are? Also, how long did it take you to get this good?
I'm 35 and no it's not rude lol. I'm a open book so ask away. Also I've been skating for most of my life so I'm very comfortable on my board. Started when I was about 9 years old and started taking it seriously when I was about 17. So over 20 years skating
