How do you do it bro? i had to give up a couple of years ago n im only 37. The slams were getting too much. Takes weeks to recover. Whereas when i was in my teens/20s it took a day or two.
@notreal1477 I hear you on that. Recovery takes time now. A couple of years ago, I found a hubba I thought would be fun to skate, and I forgot how old I was and ate it hard. I tweeked my ankle, and it laid me out the rest of the year. I mostly just do flat ground and simple ledge/curb tricks. I lay off the rails and big stairs now.
@Not Real ledges only, and manual pads. That's it man, at most the worse bails are shins but other than that your fall won't be to bad. Also....we're old...so stretch 10 min before and 10 min and wear knee pads and I guarantee you after a few times of doing this you'll have fun and feel young again while skating. Your welcome

Man i feel bad getting in people's ways like that at the skatepark but the main thing is to first read the park and catch on to what lines people are practicing. Though some might jsut be freestyling, it doesn't hurt to socialize while you are there to clear the air
I know people always be like “don’t worry about others, and have fun!” That’s true but man when you get to the park and EVERYONE is sending crazy shit, it’s intomidating. I’ve been skating for years and I’m not too bad myself but damn sometimes other people’s skill makes me feel self conscious lol
