I am a skateboarder who has been skating for over 20 years. I am a parent, a Nurse and a husband now and I still love skateboarding. I made this channel to inspired dads to skate again and I can still enjoy talking about parts of skateboarding even when i cant skate due to new priorities in my life. I Still love to skate. I feel Nyjah and the Boss Andrew Reynolds are my favorite skaters of all time but I love so many others! Mark Suciu, Shane Oneil, Antwain Dixon, TK, and the amazing Anthony Perkins LOL. You will see some reactions, discussions, skating from yours truly. Come here to get inspired and have a good time - Zábava
Hell yeah Tony. I'm from Alabama and grew up going to the Huntsville skatepark and skating with James. He is 2 year's younger than I am, but when he was about 14 there was a switch that got flipped and we all knew he was going to be the real deal. Ben Gilley and James really put Alabama on the map in the early to late 2000's and showed just how gnarly the dudes down South were at the time. Really hard to believe he's gone.
Same here brother RIP James.
Rip to him and condolences to the family. That's really cool you got to see him progress and witness his style develop
🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
@@tonyperksexperience1988the stories I could tell heart❤
Damn!!! I thought I was the only one that notice his perfect pants to shoe ratio! I still try to match that to this day! RIP to a legend 🙏
He had the PERFECT ratio lol idk why I notice stuff like that but I try to match it too. Pray he's ripping up in heaven
I'm never gonna unsee the "pant-to-shoe ratio" thing. It's something I never considered before, but now I'm gonna look for it everywhere.
I remember watching this part so many times. Amazing style and great trick selection. RIP
This was back in the day when we would watch skate parts on repeat! So many many good tricks
@@tonyperksexperience1988 the good old days, you'd watch your favourite skate vid on VHS and then hit the streets 😆
That's how it was. Plus you would be waiting forever for your favorite skater to drop a part. Those were the golden days
I’m from Alabama and growing up skating in the Birmingham area he was a legend! I met him a couple times and somehow he remembered my name the second time I saw him. He seemed like such a caring and kind guy. That’s truly heartbreaking he was such a big deal to every skater back home and really inspired a positive attitude in a lot of kids. R.I.P 💔
It really sucks. Super strong skater. Never met him but watched his skating as a fan
James Hardy is an absolute legend. Long Live James Hardy.
100 percent legend and he was still skating really even as of right before he passed. Rip
James was always the nicest and most genuine guy, and we've always had mutual friends. the times we skated together he always remembered me and was positive and full of good vibes. Truly heartbreaking, but he gave all around him the gift of hard high fives and inspiration
It's always really hard to lose people... especially if when they were kind hearted which he seemed. He left a good mark on skateboarding
Rest easy, James. Such a talented skater.
wow, wish I saw more of his skating growing up, thanks for making this video R.I.P. J!

Sleeper Goat rip BAMA HARDY
🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
Solid style. I met him twice randomly at a spot here in atlanta. Super nice and just had convos with everyone...Perfect pants ratio...only other one i've seen was when Denny Pham first came on the scene.
Oh its far a few who have the pants steeze. But from what everyone is saying he seems like he was a real solid genuine dude who was pleasant to be around
@@tonyperksexperience1988 when I met him? He was rolling with the Faith skate shop dudes and was getting all the praise at the spot. He just shrugged it off like "ok cool thank you." And chopped it up with everyone. In my experiences? Really solid guy and the world lost a good dude.
Thanks for sharing. New to me. RIP James.
No problem. Check out his other parts. There just as good
The style is very proper! R.I.P. 🖤
🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
💔
I think you mean inseam length was perfect. 👍 Nice video, bro. R.I.P. to our fallen.
That's maybe what it was. But he had it down perfectly in my opinion. Proper ass kickflip. Strong skater!!! RIP
As a dad who wishes he had more time to skate, your sweater is 🔥
Thanks brother. It's actually my favorite sweater I made. Hope you can find some time to get a sesh in soon brother.
Tragic news really makes me feel down to hear this but i remember him saying he had seizures possibly due to a slam he had or an accumulation of injuries leading to the seizures he would have whilst asleep its still to early to say what the cause was but that would be my guess rest in peace to a legend and good man take care James
^ word around north Alabama from close friends is that it was a seizure which was no secret from his socials
Those are hard head slams he took on fallen video
Damn thats extremely sad. I'm hearing that it was from his seizure condition. Lets keep praying for his family and friends for peace during this season
This might seem like a lie but I’m his niece Liz I haven’t gotten to talk to him in a few years and wish I was I was able to. His seizures were always bad but I never realized they would get to the fact of killing him. I think we will all miss him and I hope he will rest in peace💕
Hey Liz. I'm sorry for your loss and will continue to pray for your family during this time. I just recently heard about the seizures. It's very crazy how this happened. He was an incredible skateboarder with a strong style. Crazy you came across this video. I pray your doing ok
@@tonyperksexperience1988 I’m doing as well as anyone can going through something like this thank you for asking. I love skateboarding and he was always my inspiration when it came to the sport and he was the reason behind me playing it, he was a great person and I’m glad he didn’t let the seizures get in the way of him doing what he loved
I can definitely agree with you that he not only inspired you but many others by his drive and determination. He definitely did what he loved and few can say that about themselves. I appreciate you taking the time out to share with me.
@@tonyperksexperience1988 I can see how much he inspires others, I read a lot of the comments from this video and other videos and it amazes me how much people were interested and inspired by him.
@@tonyperksexperience1988 of course! I want people to know how much of a good person he was and the things he did for others. Our family always knew he had something special when it came to skateboarding and we always supported him in his journey.
❤Hardy❤
All day
His part in Ride the Sky was so damn sick!!! He rode for Real, Fallen, Spitfire, and Thunder at his peak in this part. He was having seizures for years from skating hitting his head. The 3rd slam at the beginning looks like he went into one there and he most likely passed from one on the 31st. One of Alabamas best and his Pro model Fallen shoe was so damn good back when it came out I had it twice. RIP LEGEND!!!
Yea I found it he died from a seizure. Yea he was super sick at skating. I wish I kept up with him on social before this happened. But he was hella good and a strong style and a proper ass kickflip
@tonyperksexperience1988 Hell yea man he shredded with such a unique style. Check out Dern brothers channel talking about that big 17 that's pretty gnar. James is on there talking about the crazy noseblunt he did which is insane!
Oh heck yea. Il definitely check it out. I love seeing skaters that have a strong powerful style. They come far and few my friend and he definitely hade it. That noseblunt was HUGE!!!
@tonyperksexperience1988 Hell yea that Noseblunt was crazy!!! Dern brothers channel is sick they go to all the famous spots it's called spot history and tell what tricks went down. They shred too, especially Kanaan Dern, check out his raw footage Zero stuff he is a shredder.
He is from Huntsville, Alabama. Rocket City USA. R.I.P.
Oh thats dope. I wasn't aware
RIP JAMES HARDY🛹🙏
🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
Bama stand up
That rail he did fakie nose grind is huge ocean view
That was the first time I saw anyone do that. I was hella impressed!!
Can't believe this
Harth thouhgt could be happend at somewere somenow ,fly up rider!! my really condolence for family and friendly
I like the pant to shoe ratio . That’s very very true. And I notice that kinda shit too man. Rip James hardy dude
I thought I was the only one too but glad I'm not alone. But he had it down so well. Plus he made tricks look so good.
Hell yea he did. Makes me wanna start rocking tighter pants again . Just to get that steezy ratio going lol but I will need to cop some fallens again for sure
I never had a pair of fallen pants that I can remember but if they have that ratio then I'm all in 100% lmao
@@tonyperksexperience1988 I wore Volcom and krews but a size bigger so they weren’t skin tight and emericas Reynolds 2s in those grey with white sole colorway
I’m going back to tighter jeans and shoe lace belts fuckit
He passed away from a seizure that ended his life from what i heard rip Hardy
Dang that's really sad. Praying for the family 🙏🏿
Thanks man he is a Bama legend 😞
Strong powerful skater!
@@tonyperksexperience1988 Skating with him in person was always humbling haha
I was such a fan of him he will be greatly missed and he does talk bout his seizures on a interview he did bout 2-3 years ago so not sure if this had anythin to do with it
I heard though some of the comments that it seems to be from his seizure condition. RIP James and let's pray for his family and friends
It was his pants that were perfect. The fallen jeans were bad ass.
Dude he had them on point!!!
Hardy rode 4 Real as well as fallen R.I.P Legend
🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
I’m hoping they name our local park after him
That would be epic!
grown man style. R.I.P
🙏🏿🙏🏿
It was a seizure. Apparently, from all of his injuries from skateboarding and hitting his head so many times he started to have seizures which he talked about openly.
Yea thats what I'm hearing. I wasn't aware cause I wasn't following him on social media. Man that's so sad. Gonna keep praying for his family and friends
He was knocked unconscious 9 times. Theres a podcast called ultra heavy (or something similar) he was on a few times. Check em out
He had great style maybe he rode for Mystery or Real or Zero I got him Fallen video.
I originally found him for the fallen video as well. He was a beast
He skated for Real.
Dude had several pro models for Real and you mention fallen....maybe Adidas
I dont really follow skater teams... I just like watching their parts honestly
He banged his head years ago and was having seizures pretty regularly.wear a helmet kids
Ive never heard someone go on about pants to shoe ratio. Wtf man?!?
Silly, especially when referencing this video as giving him his flowers. Ooooof
I mean I did give him his flowers. I just loved his clothing style as well. But to each their own
That part contends TODAY!!!👑👑🫡🙏🏿🙏🏿🤦🏾♂️rip
It sure does
He died from a seizure caused by a career in skateboarding
He also has been in 3 car accidents. Sucks.
That kickflip was a sequence in a transworld issue. Can’t remember the issue number.
Oh was it?! I never saw it but im glad they got that because it was a proper ass kickflip
Yeah when I die I hope they remember me for my pants too
He had good swag no lie
