So interesting to know that they have modified the Tempete, which I have only seen once in my life, last summer. The petite model really suits you. The simplistic Leonce range is also lovely. I'd love a Tempete at some point although it might be a bit narrow for my liking. I enjoy hearing your thoughts on general styling. Every time that you use the phrase "suited and booted" I get such a kick out of it as I had not heard this before 😂 Very cute 💕

I always refer to colours by their names. The “nude “ can be very wide spectrum and doesn’t describe what color is. It can be beige, pinky beige, taupe, dark taupe/ grey, grey with hint of purple or pink. It can be caramel , sand, tan, desert for beige colours. Can be cream , ivory, off white , etc.

Yes, to calling all forms of nude by their proper names - peach, caramel, olive, chocolate (love how they're all edible). And it's weird that mostly when people talk of vanilla in terms of colour, they often mean cream as in vanilla ice cream, but the pods and seeds are dark brown to black. I recall a poem we read in school about a person of colour, recently arriving in the UK (I'm assuming it was 60s). He was looking for a room to rent and telephoned potential landladies. After some previous negative experiences, he felt it necessary to mention his colour. This one landlady asked if the colour was "all over", and he mentioned the palms of his hands, soles of his feet. It stuck with me because, while I don't think she was intentionally racist, she was still being racist. I'm probably butchering the poem, but it was very thought-provoking.

Hello Thanks for your review of the Delvaux bags. The Léonce ressembles their Madame style which was discontinued a few years ago. I’m a huge fan of Delvaux, owning several older style Tempête and Madame bags. However, I stopped buying when Christina Zeller left. She is a wonderful person, who always listened to Delvaux customers, and I’m still in touch. I don’t understand how a top-tier luxury brand can operate without a creative director. IMO it was a cost-cutting measure when Richemont bought the company😢

I bought the medium Tempete in London from a wonderful SA Feriel and I absolutely love it. It’s extremely well made and I love the edgy design. So far it’s durable as well. I would really like to buy the chain strap. I live in Arizona and I have never seen the bag on anyone else which is nice. I enjoy having different things. Your videos are very informative, thank you.

They have let their pride bring them to a major fall. I am very happy to not have purchased most of these brands and that I have found your channel because QUALITY isn't just the leather for me it goes down all the way to the workers. If you mistreat them, then you don't respect humans and I won't spend my coin on those who tried to get away with it. No one is too big to FAIL.

So true. I remember in the 70s, as a girl, women of color had to go to department stores to buy makeup. Drug store brands didn't have colors for us, when I started to play with makeup as a young adult. It wasn't until the early 90s that I remember seeing drug store brands and advertisements for deeper, richer complexions. Fast forward to today, where black woman owned brands like LipBar and Mented are offered online and in stores in the US.

I've always believed that nude is a shade spectrum similar to white or grey so there would be both darker and lighter ends to it. It's not a singular colour, it's a range.

For me, the best fashion or things to own in general are things with exceptional quality that look amazing, wear properly, and don't cost an arm and a leg. Oh gosh! You are so amazing at bringing this up. Race inclusion is my reason of living. If companies don’t want to be it because of morals at least because of clients. I love to buy good quality items from food to take in to clothes I put on…however I can write a book about the treatment receive from Neiman Marcus, Harrods, and Montenapoleone St in Milan and Via Tornabuoni in Florence. I should include Newbury St in Boston. Hope with time , I will see a change.
