It's such a different world ! At the top clients send them back to be re-soled or reconditioned and they come back like new , and last 30 years , so despite the initial outlay , overtime they not only pay for themselves , but also become more comfortable ! ❤❤
Great video. I have always wondered why men’s shoes have more longevity than women’s shoes. My husband travels to Germany several times a year and orders bespoke shoes while he’s there. I’ve never thought to do so as I wasn’t aware there were options for women. l’m on the hunt now thanks to you! ❤
I’m not a fan of Le Silla tried a few styles in Milan - I think you may have mentioned the sock style? I tried them on and didn’t think they offered enough support and I wasn’t convinced they were worth the prices they were charging 🙈
In mens shoes the choices and styles are more defined , it has more about quality and price point . I am as excited by the modern sleeker lines of Italian brands such as Santoni , as I am by the heritage and Northampton craftsmanship of Brands such as Edward Green 💚

Have you heard of a shoe brand called “A di Gaeta?” I’ve grown so found of the brand’s ethos. I also like Tamara Mellon, Jennifer Chamandi, Sarah Flint, Balleri Sorrento, Mislita, Miuxa, La Portegna, Micuir to mention a few. Spain seems to be where the hidden gem manufacturers of leather goods are. It’s the same case with quality handbags being sourced from Ubrique, Spain.
I always thought mens shoes from brands like Jones the Bootmaker , Tod's and Russell and Bromley were the best UNTIL I was fortunate to buy a pair of Goodyear welted Crockett and Jones HANDGRADE ,..and OH MY LORD ! What a difference !!! Now my dream is a pair of the finest calfskin loafers or boots from Gaziano and Girling ! 🙏❤️❤️❤️
Crockett and Jones was a real eye opener offering first hand experience - can’t beat that! I’m glad. That makes two of us with regards to Gaziano and Girling if I was a man or wore male shoes that would be my brand of choice!
@sholabishop207 I’m not a big fan I feel like they are the Italian Christian Louboutin a lot of hype. You can get a lot of their styles for a better price, quality and comfort elsewhere.
We don't wear shoes at home either. It's a very Danish thing despite there being a lot of hard wood floors (not that I like the idea of stilettos on wooden floors). I do have flat shoes I keep for social occasions at home/ friends' houses. Would love some proper slippers that are also stylish!

Anesu, have you tried Jimmy choo’s love or romy pumps? What do you think of them? Are Ralph Lauren suede pumps just as great in quality as their leather pumps? In terms of craftsmanship and leather quality what suede pumps would you recommend between these mentioned brands : Manolo Blahnik, Gianvitto Rossi, Aquazzura, Prada and Ralph Lauren? I’ve tried the Romy pumps and the quality wasn’t great they fell apart very quickly. I have only experienced Manolo Blahnik suede, which is good, but I wouldn’t hesitate to consider the others, if I can’t across anything I liked, they are all solid brands.

I love Gianvito Rossi! I really like Le Silla, too. Amazing designs and I haven’t had issues with quality so far.
